My name is Rick Green. I’m a former Texas legislator and America’s Constitution coach.

But we were together in Georgia a few weeks ago, barnstorming the state to get biblical citizens to show up to be salt and light, to influence the culture with good biblical values. 

And while we were out there doing that show with Charlie Kirk and Kirk Cameron and Brad Stein and Michele Bachmann, and Barry Loudermilk, and Jody Hice, and all these other folks, while we were doing that, we filmed it, we recorded it, and we wanted to share it with you. And so even though it happened a few weeks ago, today is the conclusion of the Georgia barnstorming event.

 Barnstorming Georgia

Tim:

So one of the things that’s important, if you look at the rising generations, the Millennials are the most criticized generation maybe in the history of America, and sometimes rightfully so. But for all of the adults in there, I’m a Millennial, okay. 

If you’re talking about my people, so for all the adults in the room, I would just like to ask a question. Before you criticize your next Millennial, I just want to know, who taught us? I’m just curious, because I’m pretty sure we didn’t teach ourselves to be this dumb. Okay.

But what the big deal is, right, as you look at Millennials, it’s very easy to see that Millennials, by and large, have long positions on biblical issues, on economic issues, on governmental issues. It’s very easy to see that. And one of the things you need to know, Millennials are one of the most relational generations who are looking for people to encourage them, love them, and mentor them in their life. But here’s my question for you.

How many young people do you mentor? How many people from your church do you connect with? Because I guarantee you, there are people in your church that come from broken homes, where they’re missing their mom or dad. There are some kids that have a mom and dad, but that mom and dad might be absent, they might not be around.

They might not have the opportunity to do things they can do with you. They are looking for input. And if we’re going to change the future of America, we have to change the people who are the future of America, and this is something very practical.

In your church, there’s people around, right? You can volunteer at the youth group. You can do things and don’t think because you’re old or older than they are, that will these kids aren’t going to listen to me. They want somebody who knows something to teach them something. And I’m telling you this as a Millennial, Millennials are not age discriminators.

Mentoring Millenials

They are people who are looking for relationship. They’re looking for that investment in their life. And something practically you can do to change the future of America is change the future of the next generation by investing in their life. If you don’t mentor young people, you need to start looking for young people that you can pour into, you can encourage, you can love on, you can speak truth to, biblical truth, economic truth, governmental truth, but look for people to mentor because they want to be mentored.

Rick:

And you may be wondering what you can do to help them get equipped, we do two youth leadership programs that WallBuilders is involved in. One is called the WallBuilders Leadership Training Program. And it’s opportunity for 18 to 25 year olds to come to Dallas and spend two weeks with these guys. They get to go over to the Glenn Beck studios and learn. They get to dive into the library with them and look at original documents and actually be a part of doing research for them for the books like The American Story. It’s a wonderful opportunity.

We also do something called Patriot Academy, where we take students into state capitals. Tim and I travel around the country at the state capitals and David often too, where these young people come in and they spend a week with us learning a biblical worldview of government while they serve as a state legislator. We’re literally raising up the tip of the spear, the leaders of the next generation, the Navy SEALs of thought is what we call them.

And that is making a huge, huge difference. Our graduates all over the country now serving in state legislators. In fact, in many state legislators, our graduates are the ones that are leading the fight against the unconstitutional, unprecedented COVID crackdown orders of these dictator governors. They’re fighting against that and trying to stop it.

Learn And Teach Them

We’ve got graduates that are making movies and television programs, all kinds of things in the culture. You can be a part of that, patriotacademy.com is the website. Send your young people to us, give us a chance to teach them about the Founding Fathers, biblical worldview, and how to be leaders in the culture. It’s a big part of what’s going to change things.

Sometimes. You look at people like this, who are in Congress, and they’re brilliant at what they’ve studied, and they’ve been lawyers and administrators and you think, man, I can’t compete with this kind of thing. Let me tell you, that’s why I’m here. Okay? I’m not a congressman. I’m not a historian. I’m not a Texas legislator or former legislator, okay. I am a layman. I am a comedian. I’m a moron. I’m like you. And this is why it’s very important to do this. I’m not here to talk about my thing other than say this.

When God called me out of comedy, and I’m still will do that into ministry, He told me this and this was years ago. I said, Why are you bringing me into the church, God? Doesn’t the secular group need to know that clean comedy is good and important? And he said, you know, I Christians already have bought clean comedy. I don’t just sell that to them, that’s all they want. I need to give it to the secular. He said, first off, I didn’t tell you where to go. I asked you, will you go? And I said, yeah, he said, well, then shut up and go where I tell you to go.

Secondly, and this is important too, is he said it’s sobering now. 10-15 years ago, he said, I need you to get into the church because I need you to renew the minds of my people as to what flavors I’m going to come in the future. Because in the future, America is going to change and Christians are going to have to get to use to hearing an orthodox means of communication to be able to compete in the culture.

Discovering the Original Intent

Guest:

I’m an artist. That means you can be that way too. Everything I know when people think maybe I’m smart or have some insights, I studied. All I did was get books, some of their books. “Original Intent” was one of the first ones that really began to show me, man, where was all this information, just show me the foundation, the bedrock of what this nation was because we don’t get taught that. They have to destroy the foundation if they’re going to recreate it in their image. So we have to restore that.

So you don’t have to be as smart as these guys or whatever, but don’t take yourself lightly. You do have to study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. God said, if you don’t study, a shame on you. It’s time for Christians to quit playing games. We don’t have any more time for you not to be all in. You have to be all in. Take some time to study. I’m telling you, take some time to fast and pray. Real stuff that where we used to, supposed to do has to be done now.

I’ve got DVDs out there that does my comedy. Am I trying to sell them? No. But what if you wanted to bring friends over who don’t want to hear about Christianity and they listen to a guy, that’s funny and lifts God and country in tears down political correctness because I want to watch political correctness die in my lifetime? But first, I want to watch it suffer.

So but what am I getting at? You can give those as gifts and in stocking stuff there, have people come see it. What I’m saying is, there’s also unorthodox ways to communicate. We have to be as savvy as the left is, with using their entertainers and their social media, because that’s how things are being communicated. We don’t have any more time to be compromising and to do things at a low level.

It is time to fight. And trust me, you’re going to have to reconcile that you’re going to have to be willing to say to yourself and your family, I’m going to die for this faith. This is what it takes. This is where we’re at. Our brothers all over the nation, all over the world have already been in this situation. They know what it costs. It’s our turn. But until it’s over, we got to fight ahead of us. And there’s no reason to think that we can’t believe in a third great awakening in the United States of America.

Become an Influencer

Rick:

Amen. Hey, speaking of studying to show yourself approved, alright, so listen, you may think that all your friends and family already know who they’re going to vote for in this run off. Not a chance. I promise you, there are tons of people that don’t know yet, even with all the commercials, they tuned all that out. In fact, we were talking about this on the radio program the other day, the survey where, what was it, 10% of Biden voters or something, if they’d known just one thing of eight major issues, they would have voted there…

Tim:

Yeah, there were 17% of Democrats that were talking about media suppression. There were eight major stories, including like the hunter Biden scandal, the laptop, whatever else. There were eight major stories that Democrats said if they had known, 17% of Democrats said they would not have voted for Joe Biden had they known that. So the fact that we think people know what we know, is a very foolish position. They don’t know what we know if we haven’t taught them what we know. So we need to be very, very diligent and teaching what we know, and helping them understand what we understand.

Rick:

Alright, let’s talk about how you can get this in the hands of other people and also how you can make sure that you’re registered to vote. I know sometimes you think you show up at these events, and everything just came together perfectly. Not true. We threw this whole thing together about two weeks and the person that did 99.9% of the work along with her volunteer team, Christiana, would you please come up and join us and tell us what we can do to save these elections?

Get Registered and Vote!

Christiana:

I don’t know about you all, but I look at this crowd, I see 82nd airborne and a roomful of Private Martins. What do you all think?

Rick:

Amen.

Christiana:

Ready to take our stand. So the first thing that we have to do is make sure we’re digging our foxhole that we know that we are registered to vote so that before you leave tonight, please take a minute, in the foyer there, is a table set up with voter registration. Raise your hand if you’re registered to vote. Okay, that’s what I thought. But you know what? You need to make sure that your voter registration is good to go. Make sure yours is right. Before anything else, make sure you’re registered to vote.

Second, review the voter guides. Know who you’re voting for, know who stands for Biblical principles. You’re going to be handed a voter guide on the way out tonight. Please review that know how to answer questions for your friends. We have to dig our foxhole first. Second, we have to get people to pull their tanks behind us and force multiply so that we are a stronghold and all this that’s coming against us.

So right now we’re going to start force multiplying. Pull out your cell phones, I know you have it. Everybody pull out your cellphone, alright, we’re going to get to work. What I want you to do is open your text message, like you’re going to send a text to your favorite daughter, go ahead then. And I want you to put in the number 22454, that’s who you’re going to send the text to. It’s 22454. Alright, we got that.

Now, what you’re going to text in the body of the text right here, you’re going to text the word “Barnstorm” as one word. Now, are you all ready for a little competition? I want you all to press ‘send’ and then you’re going to get a text sent to you that’s going to have the link to register to vote in Georgia.

Courageous Leaders Collection

Hi, friends, this is Tim Barton of WallBuilders. This is a time when most Americans don’t know much about American history or even heroes of the faith. And I know oftentimes for parents, we’re trying to find good content for our kids to read.

Dad didn’t agree to this, but we’re going to give away something that you wrote and paid for. If you don’t know how to walk them through it, go talk to our table outside and they’ll make sure you know tonight. Oh, we got the first, okay. So you’re going to go out to the table and you’re going to get prize tonight. So…

10, you did 10, right? You send it to 10 people?

Christiana:

Alright, good job.

Rick:

Everybody in this room has to do that. This is how we win, folks. I know everybody wants to throw the Hail Mary pass, they want to have the big fancy commercial or the parade or whatever. But this is the blocking and tackling that wins elections. This is the work that has to be done.

You’re multiplying yourself by 5 or 10 or 20. So this is why we’re here. It’s not just about going out and learning all these cool stories and leaving here feeling good, this work right now. What she’s telling you to do is the most important part of this whole night.

Distribute Voter Guides

Christiana:

You can take your voter registration to your elections office before close of business. We have to do it. Michele Bachmann was with us earlier in the week and she said the eyes of the nation are on us. And then she said you know what, the eyes of the world are on Georgia. The eyes of the world are on you and your 18 year old friends who need to register to vote because they believe in biblical values.

The next thing we need to do is distribute these Voter Guides. So you’re going to get one on the way out the door, you need to know who you’re voting for. But we also challenge you tonight to go talk to Virginia Galloway with Faith and Freedom Coalition and get a pack of 20-50 Voter Guides and commit to giving those out before January 5th.

Every one of us has 20 friends that we could talk to about this. Also, they have a church bulletin version right here. So many of you, I know are involved in your church in some way. Pastors, leaders, Sunday school, will you get one of these packs and ask your church to put them in the church bulletin?

Rick:

It’s perfectly legal. Alright. These are nonpartisan voting guides. They simply say where the candidates are on the issues. It’s absolutely legal. So it’s fine for you to take this to your church and get them handed out, both the insert and have these at the door to hand out.

You know, other folks have donated their dollars to get these things printed so that you will have them. So we’ve got two different ones out there. Million Voices donated a lot too, get a bunch of those. We need you to hand these out. Don’t let these things end up in the trash, because we didn’t actually go do the work of actually handing them out. So please grab some of these.

Faith and Freedom Coalition

Christiana:

Absolutely. And also, if you’re ready to be boots on the ground, you have some time or you can make some time to save your nation. They are signing up folks of Faith and Freedom Coalition to knock on doors and distribute these. They’re even hiring folks to do that. So you need a part time job, what better cause to spend your time on a part time job.

Rick:

And you can be strategic about who you call. So like if you have Brad Stein’s phone list, and it’s a bunch of Hollywood liberals, friends or whatever, you know, those aren’t the ones to call and encourage them to get out and vote. Alright. So you can be strategic, you know that you want this to be like minded folks, or folks who just want to get educated, get the Voter Guide in their hands, this tech system will allow you to actually send them the Voter Guide as well.

Christiana:

And you’ll have info in your seat about the biblical citizenship class that Rick was talking about, and also, the Constitution class. What I love about it, we have some Constitution coaches right here on the front row. You do not have to be an expert. We were talking about that before. You don’t have to be an expert at this. They already did all the hard work for you. All you have to do, has a living room and some food know how to get some friends together. So please host one of these classes.

And real quick before I go down, I wanted to tell you all really quick about my light bulb moment where I learned my why because I want you to leave tonight thinking about your why as you’ve text everyone else in your phone tomorrow. I had a light bulb moment. My dad took me to a conference that he was speaking at, and one of the speakers was talking about how Congress had a bill that they were proposing to ban incandescent light bulbs.

And I looked into that afterwards and I was so mad and I said “Dad, how in the world could the government think they could tell me which light bulb I could put in my bedroom?” And he said well, I think you just found your why. Your why of why you are willing to make your stand and say I’m not willing to let the government tell me what light bulb I can use or what scent I can smell or what, anything like that.

Well, my why has actually changed significantly since then. I dug my foxhole using the light bulb, but my light bulb has now turned into a torch. And she’s one year old, her name is Hoglund Mackenzie. And in a few years, she is going to reach over to me and her grandpa and she’s going to ask for her torch and her torch of freedom. What am I going to hand her? I refuse to hand her a country that’s dark and cold. I am ready to take my stand to say the torch I hand my daughter is going to be burning brighter than it was the day it was lit. Let’s take our stand and pass our torch.

Rick:

Amen. This is a perfect visual for I used to ask people when I was speaking, I would say, you know, what’s your freedom worth? Are you willing to fight for your freedom? I finally figured out a few years later. Actually, the question to ask is what is your child’s freedom worth for you?

The American Story

Hey, guys, we want to let you know about our new resource we have here at WallBuilders called The American Story. For years, people have been asking us to do a history book, and we finally done it. We start with Christopher Columbus and go roughly through Abraham Lincoln. And one of the things that so often we hear today are about the imperfections of America, or how so many people in America that used to be celebrated or honored really aren’t good or honorable people.

One of the things we acknowledge quickly in the book is that the entire world is full of people who are sinful and need a savior, because the Bible even tells us that “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” And yet what we see through history and certainly is evident in America is how a perfect God uses imperfect people and does great things through them. The story of America is not the story of perfect people. But you see time and time again how God got involved in the process and use these imperfect people to do great things that impacted the entire world from America. Rick:

And now that I’m a grandfather, and Congressman, you can relate to this, now it’s what is your grandchild’s freedom worth to you? What are you willing to do to make sure that you’re passing that freedom intact to the next generation? We have so much work ahead of us, folks. It’s not just this election.

I don’t need to tell you how big this election is. It really is, I mean, our whole nation is watching you. Georgia has a chance to be the line in the sand. You have a chance to be the ones that can stop this radical, socialist, Marxist agenda. It’s that important. We have to hold the Senate.

And I’m not one of those that has given up on the presidential race. I truly believe at this point if we actually uphold the rule of law and the Constitution, then the Supreme Court is going to have to toss some of these states. And when they do that, the 12th Amendments going to kick in. And here’s the thing, and I don’t know who was watching tonight on the live stream. But to all those state legislators here in Georgia, in Pennsylvania, in Wisconsin, in Michigan, in Arizona, do your constitutional duty.

Legislators Must do Their Duty!

Do your job. Make sure we’ve seen all the fraud, we’ve seen all the law breaking by governors and secretaries of state and state Supreme Courts, actually breaking the law, violating the Constitution that is very, very clear it’s the legislators that write our election law. And for these schemes to be put in place mere days before the election so that they could give their team an advantage, it’s absolutely unlawful, it’s absolutely unconstitutional.

And it is the state legislators that are empowered by the Constitution and only the state legislators that are empowered to fix this. They have the power to choose the electors. The Supreme Court has said so in multiple cases, even one this summer back in 2020 in Bush v Gore, and 100 years ago in a decision that the legislators have the plenary power to choose how the electors are chosen, and that they can take that power back, quote at any time. Legislators, do your job, save our Constitution, save this election.

There’s 75 in Pennsylvania and said we’re going to do that. Now, I don’t know how these other Republican legislators and even the leadership there can possibly say they’re not going to do their duty. That means they’re actually signing off on unlawful stealing of election, unlawful changes to the law. They’re saying that the law does not matter. So let’s put the pressure on all of those legislators to do the right thing. But whether or not they do, our duty doesn’t change, our individual duty doesn’t change. Right? Our responsibility continues.

And no matter what happens over the next 30 days with both the Senate elections and the presidential election, we’ve got to keep our joy because it’s not based on who’s in the White House, it’s not based on where we are. It’s based on who we are, right? We’ve got to keep our hope.

We’ve got to understand where our hope actually is. And we want to encourage you, I love it, see, she knows where that hope is. Right? I love, that’s perfect. Hope truly is alive in our nation.

Friends, we’ve seen a wake up. Man, how about those rallies we watched over the last few months, even yesterday in Valdosta. I mean, you know that the patriots of America have awakened, the church is awakening. There’s a winnowing happening right now that is awakening that part of the church that understands this, biblical citizens are standing up. Please know when you leave here tonight, hope is alive. Do your part here in Georgia.

We’re going to go back home to Texas and do our part. Brad’s going to go back home to Tennessee and do his part. We’ve got people from other states around here. Let’s all do our part and be biblical citizens.
