Summary: The City of El Paso, Texas has been trying to legitimize domestic partnerships in the city. The people let their voices be heard, and rejected the decision of the city counsel and voted against it. The city ignored the people’s voice, and now churches and religious organizations have been organizing a recall petition, to present to the counsel demonstrating that the people do not want domestic partnerships in their city.
