Rick:
Welcome to the intersection of faith and the culture. It’s WallBuilders Live and we’re talking about today’s hottest topics on policy and faith and the culture, all from a biblical, historical and constitutional perspective. Normally, David Barton is with us, he’s America’s premier historian and our founder at WallBuilders, Tim Barton is usually with us, national speaker, pastor and president of WallBuilders. But both of those guys are going to be gone today, because we have two very special guests that are calling in from out on the road. They have made some incredible videos that have gone viral all over the place with just powerful, powerful messages about all this happening in the culture right now and so, we’re really excited to share that interview with you. My name is Rick green. I’m a former Texas legislator and America’s Constitution coach.
You can find out more about this program and our host at wallbuilderslive.com. That’s also the place where you can get archives of the program, listen to some of the shows from previous weeks and you can get a list of all of our stations across the country and most importantly, you can make a contribution. I don’t hesitate at all to ask you to do that, because truth is needed in the culture right now in a big way. And the more we can get WallBuilders Live out there and into the hands of people, they get the truth, they get all of the hot topics of the day from that biblical, historical and constitutional perspective. Which means by getting that truth in their hands, they can make better decisions, they can be more effective at influencing the people in their circles. That’s why we train pastors, we train legislators, we train young leaders of the day, all in the right perspective, that biblical, historical, constitutional perspective.
So, check all that out of wallbuilderslive.com and make that contribution. Every dollar you invest is an investment in freedom. Now, you might want to do a one-time, maybe it’s only $5, maybe it’s $500 or thousands of dollars, whatever you can do, whatever God puts on your heart, but I can tell you, it’s vitally important to invest in freedom right now. Right now is when we need to be out there as much as possible. So, maybe it’s one-time, maybe it’s a monthly contribution, whatever you can do, we greatly appreciate it. And for all of you that are already doing that, thank you, thank you for being a part of the solution, for coming alongside us, for locking shields with us. We appreciate you so, so much.
We’re going to take a quick break. When we come back, I am really excited about this interview. I’ve been watching these videos online with these two gals, Bevelyn and Edmee and I mean the Word of God just flows out of their mouth. They are hitting the hot topics of the day hard. They are unapologetic. They’re going into, you know, basically war zones. They’ve gone into the Seattle situation. They’re on the streets of New York. It’s phenomenal. You just got to listen to the interview. Stay with me, we’re going to take a quick break. We’ll be right back on WallBuilders Live.
BREAK
Hi, this is David Barton. I want to let you know about a brand new book we have out called, ‘This Precarious Moment: Six Urgent Steps that Will Save You, Your Family, and Our Country’. Jim Garlow and I have co-authored this book. And we take six issues that are hot in the culture right now, issues that we’re dealing with, issues such as immigration and race relations and our relationship with Israel and the rising generation millennials and the absence of the church and the culture wars and where American heritage is, our godly heritage. We look at all six of those issues right now that are under attack and we give you both biblical and historical perspective on those issues that provides solutions on what each of us can do right now to make a difference.
These are all problems that are solvable if we’ll get involved. So, you can grab the book, ‘This Precarious Moment’ and find out what you can do to make a difference. ‘This Precarious Moment’ is available at wallbuilders.com.
Rick:
Welcome back to WallBuilders Live. Thanks for staying with us. I am so excited about this next interview. Okay, look, sometimes, you know, somebody will send me a link to a Facebook Live or a video of somebody and say you got to watch this. I mean, okay, maybe. Oh, my goodness. I watched my first Facebook Live of these two ladies, I guess about 10 days ago and I have fallen in love with them. Great sisters in Christ, speaking truth out there, traveling all over the country speaking that truth. And they’ve got a few minutes with us right here on WallBuilders Live. So thrilled to have Bevelyn and Edmee, thank you all so much for joining us today.
Bevelyn:
Thank you for having us.
Rick:
You all are a voice of truth and reason and biblical perspective right now that is desperately needed. And you just seem to be so at peace when you do it. I mean, I watch your Facebook Lives and I’m just like, this is the way to communicate. Anyway, you all are just killing it out there. I’m so thankful for God using you all in a mighty, mighty way. I don’t even know where to start. I’m just so excited, you all are here. There’s so many different things you all are doing that I want to ask you about. I guess, I’ll start by saying, were you doing this before the chaos of the last three months with the COVID crackdowns and whatnot was this or is this kind of new to you all?
Bevelyn:
I mean, even before all of this stuff started happening, I mean, Jesus told us to go on and minister the gospel. That never change, no matter what the endemic happen. So, that’s what we do. That’s what our ministry birthed from, from that word, go and tell the gospel to ends of the earth like, you know share it. So, I mean, we’ve always went to places people have found not safe to go to and, because we felt like these people still need to hear Jesus. So, is this going to crack out that God sends us into, we’re going to do it.
Rick:
Wow. Bold. Bold. Well, in fact, I guess, what was it, two weeks ago that you all were praying outside the Planned Parenthood there in New York and got arrested, because you know, never mind violent protesters out there. But these two ladies are praying at a Planned Parenthood, that’s what we got to crack down on. So, let’s start there. Tell us about that experience.
Bevelyn:
Sure. So, yes, two weeks ago or three, I think it was two weeks ago, we got arrested in front of Planned Parenthood in downtown Manhattan, Bleecker Street, Margaret Sanger center there. And what they used to arrest us was…
Rick:
They actually still call it the Margaret, they still use her name? No kidding.
Bevelyn:
Yes. The street name is called Margaret Sanger Square. That’s the street…
Rick:
Come on.
Bevelyn:
Yeah.
Rick:
After all we know about her and the genocide and wanting to kill as many black babies as possible and we still need the streets after her?
Bevelyn:
Yeah, it’s still well, it’s [inaudible 06:29] right there in that corner, where that…
Rick:
I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to sidetrack you. I did not know that. That’s incredible. Okay. So, you guys are out there and your purpose is you’re praying for the ladies, praying for the babies. Tell us what was happening.
Bevelyn:
Yeah, so we usually go there and yes, the attempt is to appeal to the mothers and fathers. It’s also to bring awareness and specifically preach the gospel. That’s the number one mission. We believe that the gospel is what will keep someone from going to a clinic in the first place. So, as we do that, sometimes we can get very loud. And we’re allowed to do so, because we have First Amendment right to do it and we use it to the fullest of its extent. And so that day, as usual, we did it. But this time, they have put barricades around the entrance of the Planned Parenthood, we’re on a public sidewalk. So, we decided to stand inside the barricades, which puts us right next to the door, which is what we usually do. But without the barricades, we could walk back and forth and be a little more loose. Because of the barricades, now we were tight on the door. And so, what they were attempting to do was to get us outside the barricade and we refused to do so. That’s what got us arrested. And so yeah, we went in…
Rick:
And this was as the protest and the rioting was…?
Bevelyn:
That same weekend. And actually, there were some mothers and workers that would tell this George Floyd as they would go into the clinic, if you can call it that way, the mill, they will tell us, George Floyd, that we should not be here, but we should be protesting for George Floyd. And we’re like, okay, the hypocrisy is pretty rich.
Edmee:
Yeah. Yeah.
Rick:
Yeah. Yeah. No doubt. No doubt. Well, and then, you know, the first video that I saw, I forget where you all were, but you just shared so much truth and it was so… And I got to tell you, you actually inspired me to go read Uncle Tom’s Cabin for the first time since I was like in middle school and said call me an Uncle Tom. That’s right, because Uncle Tom was a man of God and I thought, this has been so, I got to go read this again. And so, I just and now got my kids reading it, we’re all going to read through it and make it our book club book. I was so glad you did that, because they use that as a negative towards any black person that shows any sign of success or any of those things. And you made me rethink what does that actually mean and who was Uncle Tom in that story? I mean, bestselling novel other than Ben Hur of the 19th century. We need to all go read it. Anyway, thank you for mentioning it in that rant that you were…
Bevelyn:
I mean, for me personally, I just I needed to make the point clear. Because, again, like you said, yes, there’s this bad light shined on Uncle Tom. But there is a name for somebody who sells out their own people. There is a name for someone who was used as a pawn to represent the black community, the black face pawn. But the agenda is to hurt them. And those are called Token Negro, House Negro. And this is not name calling, people get upset when I say this. But listen, I’m a girl, call me a girl. You’re a man, call you a man. If you’re House Negro, call you a House Negro. It just is what it is.
A lot of these certain blacks like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the other head runners, they manager them. Those are the ones who have been getting paid and thrive off of “demise of the black community”, while history, our history has been thrown in the garbage. And I also mentioned in that video, David Barton. This man has played such a huge role in my life as for educating me about history. But the thing is, if you don’t know your history, is bound to repeat itself. And when you start tell people the history and have them connect the dots, oh man, you’d be surprised that you shut down so much of that demonic lives, you know.
And for me personally, as a Christian, I am called to destroy the work of the enemy and his device. One of these devices is the Democratic Party and I’m just going to be honest. So, I have to expose it and a lot of people don’t like to say. They like to say, oh, don’t bring politics with Christianity. For me personally, I also learned that from actually listening to Barton and Jim Garlow’s book that [inaudible 11:01]. At the end of the day, regardless of how much we want to say we don’t want to be involved in politics, as a Christian by default you’re in it, because politics plays a huge portion in our moral issues that we’re going through now in America. Policies that legalized homosexuality, policies that legalized abortion and we as Christians should be standing absolutely against that. And if you as a pastor, don’t go on a pulpit and declare and decree it wrong, you are just as guilty based off of Leviticus 20. If you are going to stand or the blood is on your hands too.
Rick:
And part of what I love about your videos is exactly what you just did and I mean, the scripture just flows out of your hearts. It’s obvious, out of the heart, the mouth speaks. And you constantly do that. And I watch you on the streets as you talk to people. And when you present them with truth, you’re seeing hearts change. And I remember you saying while you were walking through the streets in Seattle there, you know, that hearts were tender. Tell us a little bit about that, just your interaction with people. And are you finding that there are a lot of people out there that have just been caught up in all of this and all the lies and then as you shine light on that and you bring truth to that, that you’re able to break down some of those walls?
Bevelyn:
The way I say this, the gospel is sharper than any double-edged sword, cutting both bone marrow, spiral all of the above. Now, you’re going to have a circus that you have conservatism and you have Liberalism. One thing is a little bit more correct than the other. But at the same time, if the foundation is not the word of God and Jesus, you’re going to find yourself chasing your tail. Anybody can argue politics all day and all night. But when you bring the gospel, you use expose the heart and you cut a lot of things. Period, point blank. People like to talk about systematic racism and they said this all the time, she’s going to break it down. Black people are not dealing with systematic racism. Black Lives Matter in Chaz was the birth out of systematic racism. It was birth out of systematic thing.
Rick:
That’s good. That’s good.
Edmee:
Yeah. And that’s the issue, it’s we’re having a sin issue here and the failure of recognizing Christ in the midst of it is what, you know, kept the black community down for a very long time. We made our color, our god; we have made our color, Lord. We have idolized this color. We have identified with this color, way beyond, way beyond how we’ve identified with Christ. Come on. So, that’s the issue. And the moment you do that, you are in idolatry, you are failing the first and second commandment. I mean, right off the bat.
Rick:
You were the first one that I heard say that, you know, when all this stuff started with the bowing down and kneeling and kissing the feet and all that. When you said that on that video, it shook me. I mean, literally, you looked in the camera and you said that is idolatry. And I hadn’t even put that together at that point. And right at that moment, I realized, wait a minute, whether it’s white supremacy, Black Power, whatever, whichever side, wherever you’re going to click, if that’s your angle, it is, it’s idolatry. It’s literally putting the color of skin as your god that you’re worshipping.
Edmee:
Yeah, there’s a lot of push to kneel. I don’t think you’ve noticed that. Yeah. And let’s look at the Bible, I’m thinking of Haman, I’m thinking of Nebuchadnezzar, I’m thinking of these people that need people to kneel. And my question to the [inaudible 14:36] of the world, those NFL players and who are you kneeling to? Who are you worshiping really? Because you are worshipping a demon out there.
And for any church, and that’s what breaks my heart the most, is when you see white Christian, kneeling and bowing, my God, not in the face of Jesus Christ, it is such a slap in the face. I’ve seen white Christians watch black pastor’s feet. What is that about? As form of repentance? What do you repent to? Because that’s how much are we supposed to repent to Jesus and repent means to change your mind, turn your… So, what is repentance? To change your mind, turn from sin and go the other way. Now, you’ve then washing the feet of and it’s not just like okay disciples, washing the feet of other disciples, it’s white Christians washing the feet of black Christians as a symbol of repentance and reconciliation. My Bible tells me that reconciliation with some [inaudible 15:43].
Edmee:
That’s right.
Bevelyn:
All it is the past and I may even say something to… When I read both books, I love the book that Jim, Jim really, you know, spoke on so much and it was so beautiful, but the part that killed me is when we got to the black community. Is all the gospel falls off when we talk about black people… We just got to understand, they went through this feeling. We wish they could do that, everybody went through stuff, that we were all born in sin. That’s why you got to be born again. And you know, the Gospel doesn’t just change because of the color of your skin or you’re black or you’re a dark brown, your circumstances or you’re a woman, that it doesn’t change. The Gospel is universal and is for everybody. Oh, you know, they don’t have enough resources. Wait a minute. I got a Bible. We live in America. I could buy the Bible right now in this country. We have the freedom to go into a Walmart right now and get a Bible. That’s enough resources. Jesus is enough. I don’t know nothing about none of that… and I don’t care about none of that Jesus is enough. He’s the standard. He’s the way. He’s the truth. He’s the light. And he makes all things new.
Rick:
Amen. Amen. And what you were just saying, again, you got me thinking about this. So, the whole reconciliation and repentance, I mean, if you’re a white person in 2020 that never had anything to do with slavery and you haven’t been racist your whole life, you know, and you haven’t been a part of those things that you’re being accused of and you’re trying to repent for something you didn’t do, how does that work? And you know, that’s part of why it seems like it’s built on a false narrative. So how could it be true?
Edmee:
[crosstalk 17:18] And to me, it’s a form of a Worship Event Sisters. It’s a reversed worship event sisters. It’s whatever Worship Event Sisters did. Okay, so, for me, I say it’s right in that lane of Event Sisters worship which is what a lot of black people actually do. They’ve forsaken Christ for their ancestors, I guess, to feel more closer to the Motherland, whatever that means.
Bevelyn:
Now, I break that down then you have to understand. So basically, what we’re saying is right now in the USA, African Americans are turning away from “white Jesus”, Black Lives Matter rally, they told us, ex-Jesus. We don’t want to serve white Jesus. What does white Jesus have to do with black lives matter, right? This is what we are told. Right? So, the black community is going back to ancestral worship, which is in Africa right now, witchcraft. But Isaiah 45 speaks on black person need a dragon chain, because we were pagans. It was prophesied that we will be in slavery, because we’re pagans. That’s why we can go to Africa right now, you will all receive a remnant of witchcraft. The black community in America is turning back and going back, they’re going back to Egypt. And yet now, you’re forcing another generation, another group of people, the white people, they don’t even realize they’re going back too. Why are you apologizing for ancestors that are dead and gone? Were you washed by the blood?
Rick:
What are you hearing from the church on this? And whether black church, white church, whatever, just pastors as they see that happening right now, are they responding to that? Are they kind of buying into it in a foolish way by giving lip service to supporting the movement because they’re not paying attention to where the movement is actually going?
Bevelyn:
Yeah. Majority, I would say, I call it mainstream church, “mainstream Christianity” and same way that you have mainstream media, which has no media at all or propaganda. I believe that is the mainstream…
Edmee:
Churchianity.
Bevelyn:
Yeah, she call it, churchianity you know. Yeah, they’re going to fold. They’re the same one that folded when COVID and the China virus was in the headlines, they folded and they’re folding now, I see a lot of prominent congregation pastors that are going out there claiming Black Lives Matter. What a slap in the face of Jesus and then this is just, I mean… And yeah, even Christian mediums and platforms, many are doing that. And is that “oh yeaism” is that, you know. I wonder sometimes, you know, we’re so high and mighty criticizing the Germans for what they did in the time where the Holocaust was going on in Germany. Where was the German church on that? I can tell what they could have been doing, because it looks like things are happening now, I guarantee you, they were happening then.
Rick:
It’s almost like and I get this sense from, I hate to say it, my own pastors were not very happy about it. But I get the sense that it’s almost like you’re saying the ancestral thing, it’s like they are trying to make up for the white church in the 60s being silent, you know, and MLK talked a lot about that in his letter from the Birmingham jail and was powerful. And he was right. I mean, if this was 50 years ago, a lot of what’s being said, I would be going, yeah, you’re right, that’s got to change. But these pastors now, it’s almost like they’re so embarrassed by what happened in the past that they’re trying to make up for it. But by making up for it, they’re like you said, leading us down this road that’s a way from true biblical Christianity.
Bevelyn:
Exactly. Because where’s Jesus that? Why are you trying to make up for someone else’s sin if they made a mistake? That’s why Jesus, this is where Jesus comes in. He fix [inaudible 21:13]. The gospel has to stand strong, regardless of what this person does, that person did. And if the doctrine of course, is not where it needs to be as far as understanding reconciliation on the cross, this is going to continue to happen. It’s going to continue to happen. We’re going to continue to miss it.
Rick:
I wish so bad we weren’t out of time I could talk to you ladies for a lot longer. And I hope you’re willing to come back? But before you go, tell us where you are and where you’re headed to next. You’re still in Seattle or have you all gone somewhere else now?
Bevelyn:
We are back home in New Jersey. We are headed to Africa, God willing. We are going to stand at abortion clinics in Africa from July 4th until the 15th and when we get back, we’ll be in Texas and then we’ll be in LA doing at abortion clinics door. Basically, our ministry has been directly abortion clinics, but the Lord is really put it on our heart to prioritize the shed of innocent blood. We can tackle other things, Black Lives Matter, all this other stuff, but the fuel to the enemy that is pushing this nation so down into a hole it’s the shedding of innocent blood. And every Christian no matter what background has to target it and has to come against it. We have to return Roe versus Wade over. But yeah, we’re traveling all over and yeah, we can’t wait to get back on. I love WallBuilders. Tell Tim, I love him. I love David. I love them. They’re wonderful and yes, I love them.
Rick:
I will. I will. And I want to tell our listeners the ministry now you’re At The Well Ministries The website is it at Well, wait, tell me exactly where to go.
Bevelyn: Sure. The ministries name is At Well Ministries Incorporated and not to be confused with another ministry, that’s also call At The Well Ministries. But if you look up with incorporated, that should help. And the website is atwellministries.org, it’s atwellministries.org.
Rick:
Atwellministries.org. Anybody in the country can go to that website, follow what you guys are doing, donate to the ministry, so that when you do go to… I mean, and I’m never shy about this asking people to support these ministries, because when we do these things, it takes finances to do these things. And the more time you got to spend raising money, the less time you’re out there actually getting to do the ministry. So, folks, go to this website right now atwellministries.org. These ladies are doing God’s work in so many different powerful ways. They deserve your support. They might not say it that way, but I will. We need more people like them. So, please go to those that website and then share those Facebook Lives. I love them. I love them. Okay. Bevelyn, thank you. Edmee, thank you. God bless you for what you’re doing. And you do have to come back. Please come back. I’ll tell David and Tim, how much you love them. And next time we’ll have them on live with you and it’ll be even more fun.
Bevelyn:
Oh, now, you’re talking. Now, you’re talking.
Rick:
I love it. I love it. Now, tell me again. When do you leave for Africa? When do you get back?
Bevelyn:
July 4th and we come back to 15th, keep us prayed up, please.
Rick:
We will. We’ll be praying for you all. And we’ll do another interview when you get back. We’re excited to hear about it.
Bevelyn:
Wonderful.
Rick:
God bless you all. Thank you all so much for coming on.
Bevelyn:
Alright, God bless Bye. Bye.
Rick:
That was Bevelyn Beatty and Edmee Chevonne. What a great, great time. I mean, they’re fun, but they’re so solid biblically and just the truth that they’re speaking in dangerous situations. I mean, they are fearless in the places that they go. And when you watch those videos, you go watch some of those videos. We’ll have some links today. When you watch them, you’ll see them. I mean, they have no fear in speaking the truth. They don’t care about being politically correct. They just speak truth. And don’t we need more of that? Isn’t that actually part of the answer right now to actually speak truth? Not to let people swim in lies and that’s what we’ve allowed to happen in our culture. We’ve allowed those leftist lies to poison the culture for decades and now we’re dealing, we’re literally reaping what we have sown.
Well, you can be part of the solution to turn that around. So many things I want to encourage you to do as we close out today. Be sure to visit wallbuilders.com today, wallbuilders.com, get some of those materials where you can get educated on the founding of America, on the true history of America where you can get the facts. In fact, get the DVD or the book ‘American History in Black and White: Setting the Record Straight’, where David, this was 15-20 years ago where he brought to light the truth, about the political parties, the truth about the fact that it was the Democrats that were the KKK that were tied to, did all the Jim Crow laws, that fought the civil rights, both all three amendments in the Constitution, they fought that tooth and nail and they fought the civil rights bill in the 1960s tooth and nail. And I’m telling you, you got to know the truth. So, if you want to be able to spread truth and teach truth, you got to know the truth. So, be sure and check that out today at our website, wallbuilders.com.
And then also consider becoming a Constitution coach. Because when you do that, not only are you getting the truth, you’re teaching other people that truth as well. That’s what we need. We need to know what the constitutional principles are that actually guarantee due process, they guarantee freedom of speech and freedom of religion and all of these things. So, check out constitutioncoach.com today and get your church signed up or you as an individual signed up and start hosting those constitution classes.
Thanks for listening. You’ve been listening to WallBuilders Live.
I love these women. We need them in Fresno to help our sidewalk counselors outside Planned Parenthood!
I know when I am out there, I can feel and see the enemy being frustrated by our prayers.
Hopefully, they inspire enough so as to duplicate themselves.
