In Iowa, Petitions Against Gay Marriage, by the People, Are Being Ignored
Air Date: 04/26/2012
Summary: Gay marriage has been forced on the state of Iowa by judges working outside the will of the people. The people of Iowa are banding together and signing petitions stating that they do not approve of homosexual marriage in their state. With the movement LUV (Let Us Vote), thousands of petitions have been put together. But come time to submit the petitions at the state capital, numerous petitions were refused and not even looked at. A right to petition the government for a redress of grievances, is a guaranteed right by the first amendment. And yet the people of Iowa are having their constitutional rights ignored. Bob Vander Plaats, of The Family Leader is our guest, today, to tell us the story.
