Rick:

This is the intersection of faith and the culture. It’s WallBuilders Live where we’re talking about today’s hottest topics on policy, faith, the culture, all of it from a biblical, historical and constitutional perspective. And there is no hotter topic then the presidential election, it is still going on. There are recounts. There are lawsuits. There is no finished election yet, folks. And we may have a declared winner by the media, but we don’t have an actual winner by the law, and that’s what we’re paying attention to right now. We just want to make sure it’s an accurate outcome and that we actually have a true winner in this election.

My name is Rick Green, I’m a former Texas legislator and America’s Constitution coach. And I’m here with David Barton, America’s premier historian, and our founder at WallBuilders, and Tim Barton, national speaker and pastor and president of WallBuilders. Guys, I don’t know, it feels like it’s either going to be 1876, which was a crazy, crazy election that took a long time to resolve or maybe the year 2000 that took, you know, 37-40 days, whatever it was, whichever one it is, I don’t know, but we’re on the cusp of something here.

David:

Yeah, we’re on the cusp of waiting is what we’re on the cusp of. And so on the cusp of waiting, by the way, I am not at all discouraged. I mean, I’m not…

Tim:

Now, guys, wait a second, you’re saying we’re on the cusp of waiting, I’ve already seen everybody say there’s already a president and elect. Right so…

David:

I’ve already seen one of the candidates say that.

Tim:

So we’re waiting for what?

David:

You know, this is just personal commentary. But the way this was set up in an election night, Tim and I did election night coverage, and we use AP maps that was really good for our coverage. AP really had good data, and they were feeding it through really good. But it’s not the data, it’s how you analyze the data. And AP has been one of the most liberal groups out there for 20 years. I mean, they’ve been way far left. And it’s interesting that Twitter said, well, we’re not going to let anybody tweet out anything about victory until two of seven networks that we recognize, say that is victory. So of those seven that Twitter recognize, the first two to call, AP, which is super liberal, and then FOX, and we’ve already talked how FOX really showed itself to be pretty liberal in this one. And they call it before ABC, or CNN or anybody else did, which is amazing that the FOX would. But that’s really what helps the Biden narrative, because now Trump’s network FOX has called the race, so now Biden can out there say it.

But man, when you look at it, these aren’t just frivolous kind of lawsuits that Trump has filed to make this thing go on and on, you’re looking at substantive type of things that can have a dramatic outcome in the election, that could change literally several states. Now whether to do or not, we don’t know. But at this point, they’re unresolved, and because they’re unresolved, I’ve got a lot of confidence that this thing may work out in the end for being something really good to expose some election fraud that we’ve known was out there for a long time, we just haven’t been able to prosecute on it.

Tim:

And along those lines, the reason we need to be patient and wait is because in some of these cities, there were tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of what appear to be maybe some fraudulent votes or fraudulent ballots, things that this is going to go to court, and there’s going to be recounts, and these are going to be reviewed, and there’s going to be different kinds of oversight inspections. And so this literally could change and some of these major cities, some of these major counties, it could impact states.

When you’re talking about wins of less than 1%, and a couple thousand votes or 10,000, or 30,000, or 60,000, but in a state of multiple millions of people and now hundreds of thousands of votes could change in that State, well, that’s going to change the outcome of that state or that’s potential to and this is why you need to sit back and wait. And I’ve seen so many people that I’m friends with on social media, some young pastors and ministers and people who maybe generally are on our side, but they’ve come out and said, you know, we just need to start praying for President Biden now and this and that. And there’s like, they’ve totally acquiesced to whatever the narrative is they’ve heard on the media, forgetting the fact that the media is promoting, by and large, an agenda that might not in this case, be accurate. Because, again, a lot of this has yet to be resolved based on what we find and what’s discovered in courts, what appears to be fraudulent or genuine, what’s thrown out and what’s kept. The election is not over at this point.

Rick:

Yeah. And, guys, I mean, like you’re saying it’s going to uncover a lot of this fraud that’s been going on forever. So maybe even more important than the presidential race is actually securing once again, you know, free and fair elections that we can have some faith in and getting rid of a lot of this corruption that’s been there for years and affected local races, and sometimes statewide races and maybe even sometimes, presidential races. So there could be a lot of good come out of this.

David:

Yeah, it could be. And in looking at this and where we are, I mean, we’re really encouraged. I don’t think this thing is over by a longshot. And as Tim mentioned, some folks already acquiesce, and I’m not there. I think we keep praying. I think we pray for truth to come to light, that all the corruption that might be there be exposed and be punished. I think the Bible talks about you pray for the hidden things of darkness to come to light. And that’s what I think this is all about. So I think we pray for that. We pray for the right outcome for truth to prevail.

And one of the guys who has been really good throughout this entire election season is a guy named John Graves. He’s an attorney. He’s a pastor. He’s a political guy. Ran for Congress. He’s run races. He does all sorts of cool stuff. But what they’re able to do with technology has been absolutely amazing. So he’s been on the ground in so many of these battleground states, and sees firsthand through what they do with voter turnout and nonprofit kind of stuff.

Now, throughout this, this whole thing, as Tim and I were doing coverage, we were calling him regularly to get updates on certain states and what was going on from an inside view because he’s just so connected with so many people, and is so good on this. So we thought it’d be really good to have him kind of give an overview now that we’re a few days past this. Where are we? What does he see? What does he think? Because there’s still battles you have to fight in this thing, we’re certainly not done with it yet.

Rick:

Long way from being over. Quick break, we’ll be right back. You’re listening to WallBuilders Live, John Graves with us when we return.

BREAK

This is Tim Barton from WallBuilders with another moment from American history. In the early 1700s, the Reverend John Wise preached that all men were created equal, that taxation without representation was tyranny, and that God’s preferred form of government was the consent of the governed. All of which is language recognizable in the Declaration of Independence. Why? Because in 1772, the Sons of Liberty led by founders such as Sam Adams, and John Hancock, reprinted and distributed the Reverend Wise’s sermons, so four years later, much of the Declaration reflected the language of those sermons by John Wise.

In 1926, on the 150th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, President Calvin Coolidge affirmed “The thoughts in the declaration can very largely be traced back to what John Wise was saying.” Few today know that the Declaration was so strongly influenced by the Reverend John Wise.

Rick:

Welcome back, WallBuilders Live Thanks for staying with us. John Graves is with us. Pastor, appreciate your time, man. Thanks for coming on. And I tell you, it’s a good time to talk about what God can do in a situation that may seem impossible. Anyway, appreciate your time, brother, appreciate you coming on.

John:

I’m delighted to be with you, Rick.

Rick:

We got a lot of people in America right now that think the election is over that the President has been decided because he’s been declared, when in fact, you know, the votes are still being counted and recounted and courts are being asked to review illegalities, and frankly, obvious schemes of some governors and secretaries of state to skew the law just to literally rewrite the rules without the authority to do so. So anyway, just so people know, it’s not time to give up yet. Right?

John:

Right. Exactly. And the way I say it to people, especially believers, is you can either look at it in faith and look at all the times in the scripture where Pharaoh’s bearing down on you, the Red sea is in front of you, it’s over. Why don’t you just go ahead and give up? You’re old Abraham. Why don’t you go ahead and give up? Why do you have to believe? The entire birth of the people of God was in faith. Jesus did not live by the seeing of [inaudible 08:25]. We live by faith, literally, it’s impossible to please God without it. So I’m so stunned at how many Christians go, oh, well, the news says it’s over and we never win, the fake media is there, and Hollywood is there and professional sports. It’s like listen, people, even without God, even without God, look what happens. The Texas Rangers back to back or one strike away from winning the World Series had a 99.9% chance if you looked at the odds, at the end of those games, they lost both times.

Rick:

Now wait, you said without God, but I know for a fact, Lance Berkman was praying in the on deck circle and I do feel like as a Texas Ranger fan, God gave judgment instead of mercy. And so maybe he was involved. Anyway, no, sorry, I get your point, totally get your point.

John:

Yeah, you see what I’m saying. What I’m saying is that’s not even a spiritual thing that deals with abortion in marriage. You know, it’s a game. It’s a baseball game or a football game, the Falcons Could you imagine if Tom Brady said, oh, hey, Belichick, coach, I checked ESPN and the media said this game’s over. I know it’s just the fourth quarter, but this is 99.9% chance, we can’t score because no one’s ever done it. Would he quit? Of course not, we don’t quit! The perseverance of the saints is part of the virtue of the Christian walk. And so this is far from over. It’s far from over. I know well we can go through why.

But for me, I tell you, Rick, what really touches me the most is in James 5, it says Elijah, he was a man just like me and you. Every single person, listen, is just like Elijah. The Bible people aren’t some special, whatever they’re documented, but they’re men and women just like you. If you pray, like he did, it didn’t rain for three years. Daniel prayed, and God said, archangels over the prints of a whole nation and did warfare for them. That’s the kind of prayer we can unleash just being normal people.

Rick:

I love that, the perseverance of the saints. Just the attitude that you know, even if we don’t, yeah, and we’ve been saying on this program, I mean, even if the presidency ends up being in the hands of Biden and Harris, if they actually got most legal votes, then we’ll say the same thing we said with Obama, we’ve got a little bit of judgment coming right now But we’re still going to do our duty regardless of the results of an election. But why don’t we just look for the chance to lay down the weapons and go home? Is it just a tired of fighting? Is it Christians not wanting conflict? What’s the deal?

John:

Yeah. I think, some of it is the church has kind of built people to be nice instead of to be the bold. You can be full of grace and truth like Jesus, He was full of truth and grace. And so I think a lot of times, the spirit of this age of discouragement. If Satan can get the church and discouraged, they’re not going to fight. And I’m not saying even fighting, a mantra, I’m talking about, well, this is not against flesh and blood, this is fight in the heavenly realms. Pray for God to disclose any fraud here.

And so to me, I think if people would just say, you know, the passage where Elijah said, open his eyes, and let them see if there’s more with us than with him, if you could this make a spiritual thing instead of a natural thing. Now, I think also, to be honest, Rick, some Christians after being uninvolved, when they finally get involved, they do put their hope in a candidate. Our hope is not Donald Trump. Our hope’s not in the GOP. Our hope’s not even in this election. Our hope is in God. Now, we want the most godly people, they’re the people who are at least aligned with godly principles. Or hope is not that, don’t be discouraged. Stay in it, but also don’t quit just because it looks like they have the upper hand.

Rick:

Man, I had not even thought about that verse. The whole idea of really praying for our fellow believers out there to have their eyes open to see God’s army, to see how many are with them. You know, in some ways, that’s kind of what we saw with the Trump rallies, right? I mean, it was like you saw, yeah, wait a minute, there’s tens of thousands, in Pennsylvania, in Butler, Pennsylvania, and all these towns, you’re going, I’m not alone, you know Lord, there are some with us.

John:

Yeah. I was driving with my wife; we’re going on a double date with some of our closest friends, and there’s a whole rally of people. And this thing’s supposed to be over, according to the “experts”. But remember, just a week ago, the experts also said it was going to be a landslide with 10 point margins and 17 point margins in the States that are decided by less than one point. So if we didn’t listen to them then, why are we listening to them now? This is not, I mean, even in the… I’m an attorney, right? And so you know, Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturns Boomer 270, Arizona, having been called yet and can flip, Georgia could slip, Wisconsin could flip, Michigan could, every one of those has lawsuits or recounts or Nevada, that’s 78 different electoral college votes that are at stake here. You know, there’s plenty of ways God could do this.

Rick:

No, you’re right, John and that’s the thing I think people got to get to remember. And also we got to point out, look, these aren’t recounts just for the sake of a recount. Trump campaign is not just suing out of spite. I mean, some people are saying this crazy stuff. I mean, in every one of these states where this is happening, there are documented, there’s affidavits, there’s testimony, there’s people saying, look, I saw the irregularities, or I saw some of these things that weren’t right. And so there’s enough of a cause there. Even in some of them where it’s a 10,000, 15,000, 20,000 vote margin, there’s enough of a cause that there could be that much of a vote that has been either just transcribed wrong. You know, they’re already seeing the computer glitch change an election at the local level in one of those states.

I mean, so this is really just being thorough, it’s been a good steward of what we’ve been given, right? We have this freedom, this right to vote as a president and a candidate for president. He’s been given stewardship over this campaign. And I think he’s a responsibility to the people that supported him to make sure that the outcome is accurate.

John:

I love that. And here’s the thing. If we can pray and move archangels, we can even see it in the natural. Let’s say you didn’t even have enormous faith, you just had a mustard seed size faith. I mean, I literally just got a text from a close friend of mine, and 100, you and I haven’t talked about this, Rick, I don’t know if you’ve seen this, we just came out. 132,000 red flags in Fulton County alone in Georgia are highly likely ineligible, because they had moved, they’re now red flags. So that’ll stay this 10,000 votes out of those 132,000. That alone could make it up in main sum.

Rick:

John, that is huge, man, and that’s Georgia. So that’s 16 electoral votes right there. So if he gets Pennsylvania, and Arizona, and it’s over, that’s it. Oh, yeah, I think people got to be patient. We’ve got to see this through. I’ve got to pray. I love the fact that you share that we’ve got to pray for eyes to be open. So what else should we be praying for first, and then we’ll talk action? What should we be doing? So praying for our own eyes to be open to have some hope because we realize how many are there…

John:

I would pray for the President. I saw something happened. I mean, I love what God’s done through our president, but his first debate performance was less than ideal, if you’re honest with it…

Rick:

Right, I agree. Yeah. Oh, the only thing I tweeted out, and I put on Facebook, I said three words, “It’s a disaster.”

John:

Yeah, I think the man was sick of COVID and didn’t know it, maybe, I don’t know, or stressed out, or I don’t know what happened there. I really don’t. But I’ll tell you this. Everyone who had eyes to see and ears to hear saw a dramatic shift. He gets COVID right after that and you think, oh, great, what if this goes on for weeks? He’s a little overweight, 74 years old. He’s got, you know, a high, high risk, according to all the experts, again, all the experts. And he humbled himself and prayed, and within days, it’s gone and he went back on the trail four or five times a day, even a 40 year old, 50 year old presidential campaign has never done that before.

It was unbelievable. The crowds with no notice hours of notice less than a day’s notice flooding. So I would say two things, first, on the prayer part. If you’re going to pray, pray that this time instead of physically being humble, and yourself and praying, and he talked about it, he talked about miracles, and he was healed. It was incredible. He feels better than you ever felt. I would say, God, please keep our leader being humble, and being in prayer.

But in the natural, if you’re going to do something in the natural, you want to go to his website. Now, obviously, I oversee a 501(c)(3), so I don’t endorse or oppose candidates. But anybody who wants to go help fight this fight, it has the knife edge, and the brunt of it has to go through the president. So go to DonaldJtrump.com and they have a defense fund. If you want to help in that way or if you know about fraud, help in that way. Or if you know about Georgia, I can talk about that if you want to. There’s two Senate races, we got less than a month to register 1.7 million unregistered people, and we got less than two months for two senators. And if we don’t hold the Senate, then Schumer has already announced yesterday, he’s going to change the world and pack the courts.

Rick:

John, I’m so glad you mentioned Georgia and exactly why it’s so important, and that’s exactly what he threw down the gauntlet. He said, next is Georgia, we’re going to take Georgia and then we’re going to change the nation and we know what he means that they finally get their socialist agenda and push biblical principles completely out of the picture. So yeah, Georgia is everything the next 60 days. It’s going to be a massive battle.

John:

We’re already on it. If you know somebody in Georgia, or you just want to pray for us, you can go to millionvoices.org, sign up just to pledge to pray. Even if you don’t live there, pray, but we’re already literally sending voter guides there. We’ll have thousands of walkers. We’ll literally deliver voter guides to the doors of 1-2 million people. We’ll deliver them to over 2 million people’s texts that are faith voters, people of faith and freedom that live in that state in the next less than 60 days.

Rick:

I love it. I love it. That is going to be huge. There’s no telling how much money is going to be spent on Georgia. But we’re going to need donations to be able to combat that and so you guys are going to be on the ground. What a great way to help. So millionvoices.org is the website to go to for that?

John:

That’s right. Millionvoices.org and you can just click “Pledge to Pray” and sign up and we’ll give you updates. You know, if you want to pray or get people or if you can send it to people, we’ll have a voter guide, it’s free. Churches can print it. It’s nonpartisan. It’s just the facts on life marriage, prison reform, biblical justice, Israel, all the way down the line.

Rick:

Now can we donate at Million Voices as well to help you get those voter guides out?

John:

You can. Yes.

Rick:

Okay. So donations or you can donate there, and that’s you can do that from all over the country. You don’t have to be in Georgia do that.

John:

Exactly. Exactly. It’s a nonprofit, you get a deduction and… I’ve got a guy that’s matching everybody who donates and literally for 10 cents each, I can get them on people’s mobiles that live in the state of Georgia.

Rick:

Oh, it’s fantastic.

John:

And for less than, you know, I can get 3 per dollar, about $0.33-0.35, we got great, great young people that are going to walk them door to door which are faith people. We got churches. There’s over 10,000 churches that are biblically aligned churches in Georgia. So we’re already working. We’ve been working since this whole thing unfolded, and it’s a two warfront, right? So Georgia, you’re holding the Senate, but we’re still doing everything we can to pray for and support. If somebody knows fraud in any of those state you just listed, you know, there’s websites to go, but anyone who wants to help can just go to that website, millionvoices.org and help us.

Rick:

Alright. I mean, that also includes volunteering, right? Like if somebody is willing to go to Georgia for a week or two, and knock on doors or they live in Georgia and they want to join the team?

John:

Absolutely.

Rick:

Oh, that is such good news. John, you’re an answer prayer, man. I’ve been sitting around my family talking about literally getting in the car and going, or and no one other people are thinking the same thing. Like, well, which vehicle, meaning which organization, which group? And so Million Voices, you’re an answer to prayer. And I think you got Kevin on the ground there in Georgia, don’t you can do?

John:

I do.

Rick:

Yes, good, man. I got to see him at our last event we were out there on. Great guy.

John:

Yeah, I’ve got lots of folks out there. Some of our staff are happier. And so matter of fact, we were just on a prayer call with, you know, it was Jim Garlow and Michelle Bachman, and there’s a lot of different people on it, and just praying for the president, praying for the nation, praying for America. And it was one of our Chief Technology officers, the guy who runs that whole thing, so personally, not through the ministry, but personally.

Rick:

That is fantastic. Oh, that’s such an answer to prayer. Because I know, man, I’m telling you, there’s thousands of people right now listening to the program, thinking the same thing. I know, Georgia is the battleground, but I live in California or wherever. What can I do to help? And you just answered that and definitely praying, but action too. We always do the John Hancock quote out around here, “I urge you by all this, dear, by all that’s sacred, by all that’s honourable to pray, but also to act”

John:

That’s right.

Rick:

And so let’s get that action millionvoices.org. John, we’re going to go there, we’re going to get people there. Hey, brother, let’s get you back, we’ll do some more updates.

John:

Anytime you want me, let me know.

Rick:

Alright. God bless you, man. Folks, stay with us, we’ll be right back with David and Tim Barton.

BREAK

Have you ever wanted to learn more about the United States Constitution but just felt like, man, the classes are boring or it’s just that old language from 200 years ago or I don’t know where to start? People want to know but it gets frustrating because they don’t know where to look for truth about the Constitution either.

Well, we’ve got a special program for you available now called Constitution Alive with David Barton and Rick Green. And it’s actually a teaching done on the Constitution at Independence Hall in the very room where the Constitution was framed. We take you both to Philadelphia, the cradle of liberty and Independence Hall and to the WallBuilders library, where David Barton brings the history to life to teach the original intent of our Founding Fathers.

We call it the Quickstart Guide to the Constitution, because in just a few hours through these videos, you will learn the citizens guide to America’s Constitution, you’ll learn what you need to do to help save our constitutional republic. It’s fun, it’s entertaining and it’s going to inspire you to do your part to preserve freedom for future generations. It’s called Constitution Alive with David Barton and Rick Green. You can find out more information on our website now at wallbuilders.com.

Rick:

We’re back here on WallBuilders Live. Thanks for staying with us. And thanks again to pastor John Graves for joining us on the program today. Back with David and Tim Barton. And guys, I mean, he makes the point, I mean, Georgia is going to be a big deal. And there’s a great outlet for people to participate in that. So if you’re feeling like, man, I feel like I’m just twiddling my thumbs waiting to see what happens with the presidential race. No, no, there’s plenty to do, and the next big battle is going to be this next 60 days in Georgia.

Tim:

Yeah, and one of the things too that it’s at a good point. There’s a lot of people right now who are advocating to give to their organizations, they’re going to help do things in the ground. And as John pointed out, there’s really only one organization that’s doing the defense in regards to what the President is dealing with this election. And so recognizing his website is a place that people want to support that. And then certainly what John is doing on the ground, as Rick as you were talking about trying to find what group could we partner with do the most with and really, man, what John’s doing sounds like he’s going to be absolutely one of the leaders, one of the difference makers. And so whether we sign up to volunteer, whether we’re donating money, whatever it is, those are two places with President Trump’s website and then John Graves vision America are the sites. If we want to get involved with what’s going on, those are two really good avenues to get involved.

David:

And by the way, Tim, to your point that you’re making, before we talked to John, was that these weren’t talking about voter fraud that might be just small amounts, and as John pointed out, more than 100,000 red flagged ballots in Atlanta, I mean, that’s enough to change lots of stuff, including even possibly the senatorial race there.

Tim:

Yeah, there might not be a run off. If those votes were illegally cast, if those votes are rejected as people as he pointed out, maybe who moved out of the state, they’re not actually Georgia residents anymore, so they don’t have the right to vote in Georgia anymore. If that’s the case, then yeah, at least for the Purdue race, then that maybe is no longer run off anymore, and then you’re only looking at one run off. So it will be very interesting as some of this unfolds with some of these very tight races and elections, not just the president, but down ballot things as well, and certainly the senate. That’s a really good point.

David:

So Georgia is really definitely going to be an important place. If it doesn’t have two races, it will definitely have one and that will help decide the control of the Senate, which is a really big deal. So a lot of attention need to be focused on Georgia, and you know, John points out, he’s already there. He’s been there for several days. There on top of this. He’s one of the most effective organizations I know. So if you want to help them on the ground, or if you want to contribute to them, that is planting money in good ground, because what John does is super effective.

Tim:

And like you pointed out with Elijah, with Daniel, one of the things that we ought to be doing every day, maybe just start before we even think of what can we do activity-wise to get involved, one of the best activities, one of the best things we can do is pray, where Elijah was a man just like us, James tells us, and he prayed, and it didn’t rain for three and a half years; then he prayed and it rained again. And Daniel prayed, and God said, man, from the very first moment you prayed, I heard you, and then the answer was on its way. It was just a big battle going on. And so certainly not to diminish, we need to be praying the whole time for everything going on. Pray first and then find ways to get involved after we pray.

David:

So pray. And don’t forget that this is probably going to be a long process. It’s got to work through the state courts then the federal courts. So don’t get discouraged because nothing happens in the next two or three days or we don’t hear a ruling in the next week. It takes a while to work all this stuff through. Remember back in 2000, it took 40 days, essentially 40 days to find out who it was. So don’t get discouraged and don’t quit praying. Stay on top of praying, and giving, and acting, and working.

Rick:

Amen. And keep that courage and stay strong. It could get ugly. It could get nasty But hey, let’s keep that praying, keep that action. Let’s make sure we get the right result here, that we get the right truthful winner, and most of all that we stamp out that corruption for future elections as well.

Thanks so much for listening today. You’ve been listening to WallBuilders Live.
