Faith And The Culture

Rick:

Welcome to the intersection of faith and the culture. This is WallBuilders Live! Where we”€™re talking about today”€™s hottest topics on policy, faith, and the culture. All of it from a Biblical, historical, and Constitutional perspective.

We’re here with David Barton, America’s premier historian and our founder here at WallBuilders. Also, Tim Barton, national speaker and pastor, and he serves as president of WallBuilders. My name is Rick Green, I’m a former Texas state legislator.

You can find out more about us at WallBuildersLive.com where you can get archives of the program and also find out the stations we’re on all across the nation. Also visit WallBuilders.com. That”€™s our main website and that’s where there’s a wealth of information and tools available to equip and inspire you and your families. Check that out it WallBuilders.com.

Later in the program, Pastor Paul Blair will be with us, former NFL football player. Actually, it will be kind of nice to talk to somebody who’s actually been on the field during the national anthem being played and what it was like when he was there on the field. And also what he thinks about what’s happening right now in the NFL.

So, guys we’ve covered this a couple of times, but I think it will be a little different having Pastor Blair on to talk about it since he’s actually been there.

The NFL Trying to Head a Different Direction?

David:

Yeah. Having been there will certainly be a good perspective. But I think the nation’s kind of tired of this subject. If you look at the ratings of the NFL, and what’s happened, and what their advertisers and others are doing, I know the NFL is tired of hearing about it for sure. They’re trying to head a different direction.

Tim:

Well, certainly even looking at the Super Bowl there was enough controversy and stink over the veterans ad and they didn’t want to play and–

David:

I heard about that. What was the deal with the veterans ad?

Tim:

The veterans ad, essentially, was the tag at the end was asking them to stand for the national anthem. And it was veterans going through different things they did. I don”€™t remember if it was livelihood, I saw it several weeks ago. And this is all– and allegedly, as far as I know, I don’t know the hard facts and details of it. But apparently, the NFL told them that, “€œWe don’t want to do a political message in the midst of this.”€

Which seems ironic since they’ve been letting players kneel–

David:

That”€™s right.

Tim:

–that seems fairly political.

David:

Yeah.

Not the Direction Americans Want to Go

Tim:

But they said, “€œWe don’t want to do something that”€™s going to politicize it, bring strife. We want to be unified, and we’re unity.”€ And so essentially they told this veterans organization they could not run the ad, but then sure enough at the Super Bowl they did things to honor some veterans, there were some neat things that happened. And certainly it seems like even though most Americans can knowledge that there are some police officers that have done some bad things, that’s not the majority of police, and certainly military. And kind of where this all falls, that it”€™s not the direction that Americans want this to go and they’re really tired of it.

Of course, President Trump tweeting about it every other day it seems like in the midst of an NFL season. It definitely is different from where it was a year ago. But as, Rick, you mentioned, it will be interesting to hear Paul’s take on this because certainly this was not the same stinking controversy when he was in the NFL.

David:

Well, when the players are doing this, it”€™s like in sympathy with Black Lives Matter. And I wonder if any of them have even heard the name Roland Fryer. You know if they even know anything about him. For those that don’t know, Roland Fryer is the youngest tenured professor at Harvard University. He is a black professor of economics in sympathy with Black Lives Matter.

And he undertook a study of the major police departments across the United States and police shootings to look at how it affected race – was race involved, were police targeting black individuals, were they shooting black woman–

Study on Police Shootings

David:

And they found in his study that actually, white individuals were 20 percent more likely to be shot than black individuals. Now, black individuals who were more likely to be physically roughed up ** or something else. But when it came to actual violence, and shooting, and killing, because you had all these nationally known instances. You had Freddie Gray and all these others that went on. It turned out that whites were 20 percent more likely to be shot than blacks and blacks were definitely not being targeted by police. And so that study came out and as he said, that was the most surprising study of his life.

And I’ll bet you that Black Lives Matter does not care at all what the numbers are. Because it’s a political movement built around an issue and it’s not built around truth necessarily. And if they really cared about that, look across the world, there is so much that’s going in the way of abuse of blacks across Africa by Muslims and others. I mean, if they’re really into the issue, America is not the place where you point the finger at.

Tim:

But as you’re even acknowledging this idea of truth, right. If they cared about what was true, well, that would also presume that they’ve been taught to pursue truth. And certainly, when you look at what we are promoting in education, we’re promoting the gullibility of society, right. We’re promoting to just do what you’re told, to accept what you’re given, to not argue, to not question–

David:

Well, to accept what your teacher tells you – accept indoctrination.

Tim:

Well, accept specific ideology, right.

David:

Yeah, that’s right.

All These Great Ironies

Tim:

Because you accept the LGBT, but you don’t accept the Christian because they’re right wing, they”€™re narrow minded, the bigot, the intolerant, and so we will not tolerate their intolerance, all these great ironies. But certainly you can point to the fact that students are not taught to pursue truth, to ask questions, in an effort to ascertain what is actually true, what’s right in this scenario. So, even with this Harvard study where this– which obviously, a Harvard study – that”€™s a pretty notable thing. But this professor is really questioning, “€œOkay, I want to see how bad this is.”€ Only to discover, “€œOh, this isn’t at all what we’ve been told and what we’ve thought to be true.”€

But this certainly did seem to be the basis of the movement from what Colin Kaepernick was doing.

David:

And by the way, it’s not that the professor was taking an apologetic against Black Lives Matter, nor are we. Any life that is inappropriately shot – that’s a problem. And it doesn’t matter what race it is, what color it is, whether it’s a black, whether it’s a white, whether it”€™s a Hispanic, whether it’s Pacific Islander, Asian, married – does not matter – that shouldn’t happen. But we don’t believe that all police are bad because there were some police shootings. And we don’t believe that even all of the publicized shootings that were publicized were necessarily bad. There was more to them than what was out there in the reaction.

So, Black Lives Matter kind of took the position that if it’s black, it”€™s always wrong. If it’s black that”€™s shot, it”€™s always unjustified and we’re going to create a civil riot over it. And that’s what really caught the image and imagination of professors and others. So, even as we did the legislators conference this year we had so many examples of what professors were saying and how out of bounds it was. But truth is not the issue for them. They’re not looking at truth, or statistics, or information.

And certainly, those guys on the field, what you can say about every one of those guys who took a knee during the NFL games is they recently came out of college. Which means they got that heavy steady indoctrination. Most colleges are definitely in that direction.

Rick:

Well, in fact, that will be a good question to ask Pastor Paul – what’s the difference in what he’s seeing on television now with the NFL and what he experienced himself?

Pastor Paul Blair is our special guest. Stay with us. We’ll be right back on WallBuilders Live.

American History

This is David Barton with another moment from America’s history. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court recently overturned the jury’s sentence of a man convicted of the brutal murder of a 71 year old woman because the prosecuting attorney had mentioned a Bible verse in the courtroom. Consider what happened in the 1778 case, Respublica versus John Roberts. Thomas McKean a signer of the Declaration of Independence was the chief justice of that court and addressing John Roberts after the jury had sent him to death for treason. McCain told him, “€œYou will probably have but a short time to live before you launch into eternity. It behooves you to repent of your evil deeds. To be incessant in prayer to the great and merciful God to forgive your manifold transgressions and sins, to teach you to rely on the merit and passion of a dear Redeemer.

This prominent Founding Father actually delivered a salvation message to the defendant in the courtroom. For more information on God’s hand in American history contact wall builders at 1-800-8-REBUILD.

Rick:

Welcome back. Thanks for staying with us here on WallBuilders Live. A good friend, Pastor Paul Blair, back with us. Always good to have you, brother. Thanks for coming on.

Pastor Paul Blair:

My pleasure, Rick. It’s always a pleasure to be on the show with you and David. Thanks so much.

Rick:

Hey, I love your work, man. Not only as a pastor there in Oklahoma, but Reclaiming America for Christ. You”€™ve just been a culture warrior and we love teaming up with you, and locking shields with you, and highlighting some of the things that you’re doing. As a former professional football player, I’ve been curious about your thoughts on this anyway. Looks like you actually sent a letter to the NFL about the whole kneeling during the national anthem thing. Tell us, as a former player, what that means to you.

“€œAs a Former Player, What Does That Mean to You?”€

Pastor Paul Blair:

Well, I was irritated on a couple of fronts. One, I’m irritated with the current educational system because these guys are operating off of a contrary to fact premise which was started by this Colin Kaepernick. But then secondly, as a vested former player, my retirement is tied up with the NFL Players Association and the NFL. And based upon ratings over the last couple of years, the NFL is starting to tank. The more they get involved on the wrong side of some of these political issues then they run the risk of jeopardizing at least a portion of my retirement future. So–

Rick:

So, you got a personal interest in this?

Pastor Paul Blair:

I”€™ve got a stake in the game, my friend.

Rick:

That’s right.

Pastor Paul Blair:

So, I drafted a letter trying not to be– my initial draft was about twice as long as it was.

Rick:

Does your wife make you do the same thing mine does? You have to let her read it before

you can send it and you get to rewrite it?

Pastor Paul Blair:

Edit, edit, edit. Yes, exactly. So, I had to cut the thing down, but finally got something that I think had enough of the information in it that was necessary to basically, reacquaint these guys. Or not even reacquaint them, probably acquaint them for the first time with what the true facts are as opposed to what they have been taught in the modern public education system.

The Root Cause

Rick:

I think you hit on something here that a lot of people have ignored and that is the root cause of this whole thing. It is not these incidents that have been in the news–

Pastor Paul Blair:

Yeah.

Rick:

–these very rare incidents compared to the number of obvious interactions police have to have with folks black, white, yellow, black, or brown – doesn’t matter. But these incidents that people think were the cause of it, it really goes back to the education system and setting folks up for this anti-American–

Pastor Paul Blair:

That”€™s right.

Rick:

–look for anything you can to say America’s bad education system.

Pastor Paul Blair:

No, you’re exactly right. And we don’t educate anymore – now it’s all indoctrination. We’ve got to make sure these kids have the right feelings and how they feel about climate change, and how they feel about gender issues, how they feel about racial issues, and we don’t teach these kids the facts of life. We don’t teach them reading, writing, and arithmetic, true history, or anything else. And consequently, when you have some knucklehead like Colin Kaepernick that loses his starting job and decides to start taking a knee and then saying, “€œWell, black people are being oppressed.”€  All at the time when we’ve got a black president, and a black secretary of state, and a black attorney general, and black on the Supreme Court.

And it”€™s like, “€œWell blacks in America aren’t getting a fair shake.”€ There’s an old saying, “€œYou can’t be mad at the man when you are the man.”€

Rick:

That”€™s right.

You”€™ll Find It In Both Directions

Pastor Paul Blair:

He’s basically riling these players up and saying, “€œWe’re not being treated fairly.”€ And I find that ironic in a league where 70 percent of the participants in the National Football League are black African-American and they get paid a very handsome salary. So, I don’t know where the idea is that they’re not being treated fairly in the United States come from. Obviously, I don’t think there’s any evidence to back it up. Obviously, in every situation you’re going to find some knucklehead out here that’s a racist in some parts of the country and you’ll find it in both directions. There”€™s wicked people everywhere.

Rick:

Right.

Pastor Paul Blair:

But the whole idea that our entire culture is driven by racism was just not true.

Rick:

And you said it exactly right – there are wicked people everywhere. That”€™s one of the things we tried to point out back when all this happened even here on the program is say, “€œLook, of course, there are still some racists in the country..”€

Pastor Paul Blair:

Sure.

And, “€œYes, you’re going to find a bad cop here and there. There’s thousands and thousands of them out there, so there’s there’s wickedness everywhere.”€ But to paint this broad stroke–

Pastor Paul Blair:

Right.

Rick:

–is an insult to the all the great cops out there. And our military that that flag actually stands for and the sacrifice they”€™ve made. There are so many other things at play here. Unfortunately, the thing is it spiraled into this deal where these fourth and fifth graders are kneeling at their football games thinking they’re being cool because they’re following the guys they”€™re watching on TV.

Turned Into a Negative Thing

Rick:

So, it’s really turned into a negative thing. And you’re right – it’s causing a very negative reaction to the NFL. We’ll see after the Super Bowl. I had given up on the NFL. I”€™ll tell you, I was I was sick of it – especially when they turned down the ad by the veterans.

Pastor Paul Blair:

Yeah.

Rick:

But at the Super Bowl they did a pretty good job of highlighting the Medal of Honor winners.

Pastor Paul Blair:

Yeah.

Rick:

And a very patriotic response. Maybe they’re trying to recover from this.

Pastor Paul Blair:

Well, money talks, let”€™s face it.

Rick:

Yeah.

Pastor Paul Blair:

So, I’m sure that has gotten their attention.

Rick:

No doubt. Yeah.

More Slaves Today Than There Ever Were

Pastor Paul Blair:

But one of the things, Rick, and I know we have some other things we want to talk about. But when I was writing this letter, I was looking and doing some research and   alarmingly, there are more slaves on planet Earth today than there ever was. AntiSlavery.org shows that there are 40 million slaves in the world today. But there are a majority in middle African countries, and Muslim countries, and communist countries. But we’re not concerned about that.

That’s not cool, it’s not chic to talk about that – it’s only chic to teach that America is evil and hate America.

Rick:

Yeah.

Pastor Paul Blair:

So, it’s sad. If these guys really want to make a difference, and really have issues, there’s a lot of bad that still needs to be fought even today. Rather than making up a false narrative and trying to criminalize the United States of America.

Rick:

Pastor, I’ve got to take a quick break. When we come back, let’s talk about this deal there in your backyard – this is on a university now. We talk about education and what a horrible job they’ve been doing. Here’s another example – Ken Ham uninvited from a campus and yet they”€™ve got drag queens and everything else. So, really want to get your comments on that as well.

Stay with us, folks. We’ll be right back. You’re listening to WallBuilders Live.

Biographical Sketches

Hi friends! This is Tim Barton of WallBuilders. This is a time when most Americans don’t know much about American history or even heroes of the faith. I know, oftentimes as parents, we”€™re trying to find good content for our kids to read.

If you remember back in the Bible, the Book of Hebrews it has the Faith Hall of Fame, where they outlined the leaders of faith that had gone before them. Well, this is something that as Americans we really want to go back and outline some of these heroes not just of American history, but heroes of Christianity and our faith as well.

I wanted to let you know about some biographical sketches we have available on our website. One is called, “€œThe Courageous Leaders Collection“€ and this collection includes people like Abigail Adams, Abraham Lincoln, Francis Scott Key, George Washington Carver, Susanna Wesley, even the Wright brothers.

There’s a second collection called, “€œHeroes of History“€ in this collection you read about people like Benjamin Franklin, Christopher Columbus, Daniel Boone, George Washington, Harriet Tubman, the list goes on and on.

This is a great collection for your young person to have and read. And it’s a providential view of American and Christian history. This is available at WallBuilders.com.

Rick:

Welcome back. Thanks for staying with us here on WallBuilders Live. Pastor Paul Blair with us. And, Pastor, give us some websites for Reclaiming America and for your local church as well.

Pastor Paul Blair:

Well, RA4Corg, that’s the number 4, we’ve simplified it, easier to type. Just www.RA4C.org – Reclaiming America for Christ. And then our church website is FairviewBaptistEdmond.org, FairviewBaptistEdmond.org. So, we welcome people to visit us.

We are constantly in the middle of something. We don’t go looking for it, but when you stand up for truth and righteousness in a dark world, you wind up being in

the middle of many a *tuffle.

LGBT Activists on Campus

Rick:

No doubt, no doubt. We”€™ll have both of those links today at our website, folks, make it easy for you to jump over. But let’s get to that second topic, Pastor, this is University of Central Oklahoma. And I think you were involved in helping to get Ken Ham for them as a speaker, right?

Pastor Paul Blair:

We actually have an on campus ministry from our church called Valid Worldview. We’ve got a full time staff member that’s there and it’s a great Christian club that’s on campus. We”€™re recognized by the campus., we do a number of events there.

Well, student government actually contacted us and they wanted to sponsor and bring Ken Ham to the campus. There”€™s a couple of Christians in student government. So, we helped make the connections, we introduced them to Ken, and they got everything worked out.

And Ken was scheduled to be here on March the 5th, a Monday night. And then literally within the last two weeks, a small group led by a university professor that is a LGBT activist, and a small group of LGBT activists on campus, literally drove the narrative. Bullied, intimidated, the student government association to where they – who were the ones that wanted to bring Ken Ham to begin with – finally rescinded the invitation and he is not welcome on the university.

So, the irony of it is Ken was slated to speak in Constitution Hall.

Rick:

Oh wow.

Pastor Paul Blair:

But with the work of– and the other irony is the group that professes to be not tolerated, a group that cries out, “€œTolerance! Tolerance! Tolerance!”€ is the one that’s the least tolerant of anybody. And the group that’s always crying out, “€œWe’re being bullied against”€ is actually, in reality, the biggest bunch of bullies.

So, our legislature is actually looking into this. We hope that something great is going to come out of this. Romans 8:28 is still in the Bible, so we’re still working that direction.

Rick:

That’s right. I wonder if the school is planning to change the sign on Constitution Hall or at least right below that put “€œConstitutional Hall Except For That Part of the First Amendment That Shall Not be Spoken Here”€.

I mean, how ironic. No doubt. Now you guys are still planning to have Ken come–

Pastor Paul Blair:

Yeah.

Rick:

–and then speak at the church, right?

The Light of Truth Will Continue to Shine

Pastor Paul Blair:

Well, we’re going to have him at our church, so everything is going to go on. So, we’re going to have him live and we’re going to livestream it. So, we will let you know. The beautiful thing about this is where Ken would have probably been speaking to maybe a thousand people at UCO, we’re going to promote this, we’re going to livestream it. Hopefully we’ll have Ken speaking to four or five hundred thousand people – not only here in Edmond, but across the United States and around the world.

So, we appreciate the devil, all of his efforts, he tries to bury the light of truth, but the light of truth will continue to shine, my friend.

Rick:

I love it. I love it. We’ll do our part in helping to get the word out. You said it’s March 5th, the evening of March 5th?

Pastor Paul Blair:

Yeah, Monday night March 5th at 6:00.

Rick:

Alright, we”€™ll spread the word. And it’ll be a Facebook Live? Is that the way to watch it?

Pastor Paul Blair:

Yes, we’ll do it Facebook Live on Ken’s website. And they will also have it on the Reclaiming America for Christ website, so you can watch it on the internet. And also on Facebook live with the following Ken.

Rick:

Alright, good stuff. Well, Pastor Paul, always good to have you, brother. Let’s get you back again soon.

Pastor Paul Blair:

Alright, Rick. God bless you. Give my best to David.

Rick:

Will do it. Thanks for being with us.

Stay with us, folks. We”€™ll be right back with David and Tim Barton.

Share a veteran’s story

We Want To Hear Your Vet Story

Rick:

Hey friends! If you have been listening to WallBuilders Live for very long at all, you know how much we respect our veterans and how appreciative we are of the sacrifice they make to make our freedoms possible. One of the ways that we love to honor those veterans is to tell their stories here on WallBuilders Live.  Once in awhile, we get an opportunity to interview veterans that have served on those front lines that have made incredible sacrifices have amazing stories that we want to share with the American people.

One of the very special things we get to do is interview World War II veterans. You’ve heard those interviews here on WallBuilders Live, from folks that were in the Band of Brothers, to folks like Edgar Harrell that survived the Indianapolis to so many other great stories you heard on WallBuilders Live.

You have friends and family that also served.  If you have World War II veterans in your family that you would like to have their story shared here on WallBuilders Live, please e-mail us at [email protected]  Give us a brief summary of the story and we’ll set up an interview. Thanks so much for sharing here on WallBuilders Live!

Rick:

Welcome back. Thanks for staying with us on WallBuilders Live. Thanks to Pastor Paul Blair for joining us today as well. We’re back with David and Tim now.

And before we jump into you all”€™s reaction from Pastor Blair, just an email I want to share with our listeners. Trying to get to more of these. We have our questions on Thursday’s, Foundations of Freedom Thursday, but a lot of folks send in comments as well.

Email From a Listener

Rick:

This one’s from Gail. She says, “€œThank you Mr. Barton so much for letting me know where I can hear you on the radio in Illinois. I’ve tried to find you on the radio in the past and I’m now thrilled to know I can listen on WY LL 1160 am at 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:00 a.m. on Sundays. Thanks again for your e-mails – I try to save them all for future reference and have enjoyed your presentations on cable TV and in the DVDs I”€™ve purchased. Also, love the Founders Bible and the jigsaw puzzles I bought some time ago. Sincerely, Gail. A grandpa of two homeschooled kids – a boy of 13 and a girl who just turned 10.”€

So Gail, thanks for your email. And for listeners that just heard that, yes, you can get on that email list as well. Go to WallBuilders.com, right there on the homepage. If you get on the e-mail list, we don’t bombard you at all. It’s couple of times a week you”€™ll get an update of what’s coming out on the program next week. You might get some really cool stories were David’s educating folks on something from the founding era.

But you want to be on that e-mail list to stay tuned. And in fact, if you sign up right now on our homepage on the e-mail list, you get a 30 percent off coupon to use in the store as well. So, great opportunity there. Check that out at WallBuilders.com. And thank you, Gail, and get that 13 and 10 year old educated and then when they turn 16, send them to Patriot Academy.

Alright, David, Tim, sorry – I had to share that, I wanted to share that. I just love hearing from these folks. Especially on some of these news stations where we’re at across the country. You guys heard the interview with Paul Blair – what”€™d you think?

It Comes From Progressivism

David:

Well, Paul quipped the question he said, “€œI don’t know where this comes from.”€ I’ll tell you where it comes from is progressivism. Progressivism teaches you to look at the group rather than at the individual. And so what we have now are we have groups like Black Lives Matter or any other group and that’s the wrong way to look at it. Consistently throughout Biblical studies and history, and throughout the early part of America, we looked at the individual. And when you stop looking at the individual and start looking at the group, you’re willing to trample the rights of individuals for behalf of the group. Inalienable rights is exactly the opposite – you always defend the right of the individual against the group. And so it’s a real reversal.

But that’s where this stuff comes from where that you get to be group conscious. And this group is being singled out or that group. No, no, no, no, no – go back to individuals and look individually at what happened.

Tim:

And it’s totally great to fight injustice.

David:

You bet. You bet.

Tim:

We”€™re not against the idea. No, no – if there is an injustice let’s talk about it. And if in the situation where hey, if blacks were literally being targeted as a thought was, well, no, we should all be standing up and saying, “€œYou shouldn’t be targeting people because of the color of skin and because of where they’re from.”€ For sure we can say that.

However, if justice is what we are pursuing, right, if we’re saying, “€œNo, no, we want to stop injustice where we see it.”€ One of the things that Paul pointed out is there still a lot of bad that needs to be fought today with more than 40 million people currently enslaved today.

David:

That”€™s right.

Tim:

So–

David:

And how many of those 40 million are in America? And yet the focus is on America and not on where the 40 million are.

There Are Problems in America We Want to See Fixed

Tim:

Right. So, obviously not to say there’s not problems in America we want to see fixed.

David:

You bet. You bet.

Tim:

I can point to problems I want to see fixed. I want to see abortion ended, I want to see families restored, and strengthen families, I want to see marriages that are back together. There’s a lot of issues in our nation I would love to see resolved.

David:

And we don”€™t want to see any individual mistreated or have injustice.

Tim:

No.

David:

We don’t want to see any individual wrongly shot by any police at any point in time.

Tim:

And if a police officer does wrongly shoot somebody, they should suffer the consequences for that.

David:

That”€™s right.

Tim:

They should have a trial, they should go to jail, whatever the consequences that follow, they should have to deal with those consequences.

A Perpetuated Ideology

Tim:

But a lot of what’s being fought is more of a perpetuated ideology. This myth, this agenda, than it is based on reality and truth. And again, if injustice is what we really care about, well there’s a lot of injustice happening around the world. There’s a lot of sex trafficking, there’s a lot of domestic abuse, there’s literal slavery, and there’s a lot of things we can point to.

And so if the thought is we want there to be justice, well I love justice. I love the idea of fighting for justice. But I think we’re just a little confused on where this injustice has occurred. Especially when it comes to the NFL and things. Well, now and even mentioning Ken Ham, right, with being disinvited from the college campus by the really tolerant liberals.

David:

Yeah, yeah.

Tim:

And he points out isn”€™t it ironic the people that claim to be tolerant are often the biggest bullies.

David:

And the one who said that they’re being bullied the most are the biggest bullies. Yeah, exactly right.

Tim:

But also, it would go to show that you don’t fight somebody to keep them off your campus if you think they’re ineffective at what they do. So, the fact that they’re trying to keep Ken Ham off also tells me they’re intimidated of his message and they don’t want a fight on an ideological position because maybe they can’t defend or they can’t disprove what Kens going to talk about. With the fact that there is a creator God, there’s something greater than us that exists outside of us. And so they just have to throw a fit to try to stop whatever they can. Certainly doesn’t seem very tolerant.

But I’m glad that Paul’s doing something having Ken there, live streaming. So, I’m going to check it out when he comes and see what Ken says.

Pastor Paul Blair: Former NFL Player Turned Pastor Weighs In

Rick:

We’ll definitely be sharing that when on Facebook. It’ll be on Facebook Live. We’ll let folks know and be sure and ask you to share it as well. The more we can spread it I think we have a chance of doing exactly what Pastor Paul was saying and just exploding this thing to four or five hundred thousand people instead of the 1000 or so seeing him had the campus not uninvited him.
