I learned many things I did not know. My father was very much into History, but only in general (like the Civil War) so I did not learn the Christian side of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. I am involved with numerous children with my job (school bus driver) and with my Church ( Cross Brand Cowboy Church, Stillwater, OK) with the children and Women’s Ministries. I can’t remember his full name. Also, I would like to use the information about him asking General Washington if a church could be built for the soldiers, WallBuildersLive January 4, 2022 at 9:26 am - Reply I believe you are referring to Chaplain Israel Evans. There is a long section on him in the following book: https://www.google.com/books/edition/The_Chaplains_and_Clergy_of_the_Revoluti/vH8xAQAAMAAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1. I hope this helps!
