Guys, there’s a lot going on right now this week, new president sworn into office, obviously big agenda at the federal level, from the Democrat Party. We’re all really focused on what’s going on at the state level and at the local level. But there are some big moves in the culture right now to radically change who we are as a nation.

A Global Perspective

Tim:

Yeah, one of the things too, as we’re talking about some of the changes happening even in the nation, we will look at global perspective momentarily. But certainly with some of the executive orders coming down with some of the policies being rolled back with more things scheduled to change, America certainly is being positioned to be much more of a global teammates.

Where certainly, one of the positions that Trump took was America’s going to be first, and we’re going to protect American interests, etc, etc. And it definitely seems to be the policy position right now, at least of Joe Biden that we want to get back on the world stage and do what the world is doing.

And part of what the world is doing is not something that is beneficial in a sense of freedom, or the free market or prosperity or stability. With America now being part of the Paris Climate Agreement, some of these national things we’re joining, it certainly don’t seem to make a lot of sense. Some of the friendships that maybe the Biden ministration wants to join nationally that wouldn’t necessarily be great for America.

Or some of our allies, Israel being one of those, and there’s already been talk of now the Biden ministration favoring a two state solution for Israel, etc, etc. There’s a lot of challenges, certainly, that we see in the nation going forward, not the least of which is economic policies, which certainly don’t look good from the administration.

David:

I think one of the things you’ll see America getting into on the global level is something that’s already moving on the global level, and that’s really kind of an economic reset. How do you want to say this? There’s a lot more tendency on the part of many governments to move in the direction of what is now being called with what the Chinese are doing is Socialistic Capitalism, or Capitalistic Socialism.

A Command Economy

In other words, we’re going to have the government run more of the businesses. We’re going to let you keep some profits, we’ll tell you how much to keep. It’s not like a complete takeover like you have in communism, and it’s not quite the complete takeover you have in socialism, because neither one of those are very productive.

So the Chinese have found that, you know, if we let you keep part of what you make, you have more incentive to make more. So instead of taking 100%, we’re only going to take 90% or 80%, or whatever. So they’re getting better outcome in China than what they had through straight out slavery essentially, complete command economy. They’re letting some free market come in. And so there are some incentive to be more productive, and they’re benefiting from that.

And so there’s this thing going across the world right now with the globalism and so much of the world is into big government and into what’s called “Command Economies”, where the government tells you how your economy should run and what you should do and how much you should produce of what.

I think you’re going to see America moving into that. Now, from the global standpoint, that’s called the Great Reset. In other words, the world has been free market for a century or so, it’s time to reset that. It’s time to go back to maybe what we had in the 1700s, 1800s, more “Command Economies” where the government’s in charge of the economy. So I think you’ll see that.

And we actually got a question from a listener on this is, hey, have you guys heard of the Great Reset? Do you know what that is? And the answer is, yes, we do. And the person that I know of that knows the most about the Great Reset as Glenn Beck. Glenn Beck has done such a great job of researching this and looking at what’s happening and when it’s happening, and what’s going across the world and what key words and phrases are.

World Economic Forum

And he does by studying specifically out of the writings of those who are doing it. It’s not a conspiracy kind of a thing. It’s right on the website of the World Economic Forum. I mean, that is a significant global economic group, and they’re saying, here’s what we’re going to do, the Great Reset.

So he has studied that in America, we’re fairly ignorant of it. But I think we’ll see it coming really fast under Biden. So we’ve asked Glenn on to talk about this, to kind of answer the question, tell us what it is, what we should look for, and what we can do as a result.

A Moment from American History 

This is Tim Barton from WallBuilders with another moment from American history. Too often today history education excludes great black heroes from the American founding such as Lemuel Haynes. Haynes, abandoned as a baby, pioneered churches across upper New England. He became the first black American to pastor a white congregation to receive an honorary master’s degree and to be ordained by a mainstream Christian denomination, the Congregationalists.

He was a soldier during the American Revolution and in his churches on George Washington’s Birthday, he regularly preached sermons, honoring George Washington. Even late in his life, he expressed his willingness to go back to battle if necessary to protect America, which he called a “Sacred Ark.” American history is filled with numerous examples of black heroes who are largely ignored by mainstream education today.

Glenn, thanks you for being with us. I got a question for you. We’ve been taking questions from listeners. And there’s one about what’s called the Great Reset. People are saying what the heck is this? Oh, I know, you know, so what’s the Great Reset?

The Great Reset

Glenn:

So it is first of all, not a conspiracy theory. It is a conspiracy fact. And I urge you not to go even to my website. Don’t go anywhere except the World Economic Forum and read it for yourself. Watch the video yourself that they are pushing. Watch the interview with John Kerry, who’s now our climates czar, let him tell you all about it.

It is a public-private partnership with business and government on a global scale. If you see how the government is playing footsie with Google and Facebook, and well, we can’t really do anything because they’re outside of the constitutional restrictions. And those are all about the government, not private companies. You’ll see how they are playing with each other. They need each other and they’re controlling speech now in America.

You’re going to get this now with the banks and everyone else. It is a way to control the people globally, and move them to this new what they call public-private partnerships and a new form of capitalism. But this new form of capitalism is not capitalism, it’s cronyism. It’s very much like the Chinese have, where the government will approve who gets to run the companies, who’s on your board, what you’re making, how much you’re making.

If there’s a glut, the government will slow it down. They’ll help you every step of the way. Now, of course, you’re going to have to pay higher taxes for all of this. But that’s just because we’re partners now in everything that we do.

It’s the power grab that I think every Christian has been wondering, how is that going to happen? How is “One World Government” really going to happen? It’s going to happen with the Great Reset. It’s already in play. It explains an awful lot of things that have already gone on. They’re using COVID and global warming as the impetus to bring this on. Remember they all said there’s a New Normal that’s coming. This is the New Normal.

“Build Back Better”

If you saw Joe Biden’s campaign slogan, it was “Build Back Better.” Which to me sounded like “Build Back Better”. I mean, it just sounded like a ridiculous third grade kind of sentence, or slogan. Well, it’s not. It is the slogan of the Great Reset. And if you look, you will see Boris Johnson using it. You will see the president of France using it. You’ll see the president all over Europe, all over the world, in Asian countries, also in the Middle East, everyone’s using the phrase “Build Back Better”. That is the Great Reset slogan.

David:

So, I mean, they’re not going to come in and just say, hey, we’re trashing your free market system, here’s what we’re going to do. There’s got to be a way that they’re getting people to voluntarily buy into this? Or are they just going by that and saying because the COVID crisis, we’re going to take it over?

Glenn:

I believe that the big companies, this explains why corporations right now are going against their own interests. I don’t know if you’ve noticed that. But you’re like, how are they planning on this being good for them? And the answer has been, well, they want the Chinese market? No, I don’t think that’s the answer.

I believe that these people see the writing on the wall, that there is a new political correctness that is coming with not only climate change and COVID, but also with critical theory and all of the stuff that is being vomited out of our universities now. That’s part of it.

And so you will see, like, for instance, our Treasury Department, Janet Yellen said just the other day in her testimony, that she is going to be putting social justice and climate justice as one of the main priorities of the Treasury, that, again, is the Great Reset. So these big companies have come in and they can see the writing on the wall. It’s not about China. It’s about getting the whole world.

America or China?

You want to lose America or China? People will say, well, I don’t want to lose both, but if I have to have one, I guess I take China. That’s not the deal. What they’re saying is, you can have China, you can have Europe, you can have the whole world, and America. But you got to play the game. This is what’s coming. Just be a part of it.

It’s no different than what happened with Mussolini, no different than what happened with Hitler. At first, they make a deal with these corporations. Look, work with us and it will be good for you. Why, David, when we had a seizure on the Capitol last week, did the stock market go up? Why did when you have a split government, usually, Wall Street goes up, because that means not a lot of action is going to be taken?

You have a government now that is completely united in one party, all of the power. They’re talking about massive taxes $15 an hour. Why did last Wednesday during the siege, when we were at our most unstable, did the stock market go up? In fact, the best part of the stock market went up in the financial sector, because they know they are going to be getting the spoils from the rest of the world.

BlackRock right now is playing a big role in the Treasury Department and in the White House. It is the largest investment firm in the world, that it dwarfs everything else. You think Goldman Sachs, that’s nursery school, compared to BlackRock: it controls $21 or $27 trillion every year of investment.

They’ve just said, if you get 25% of your business is in any way reliant on fossil fuel, then you’re part of the problem, and they will no longer allow any of their investment money to come to your company, unless you join with them to be able to fight the climate change and join them in these new kinds of ideas of public-private partnership. This is the new way and the New World Order.

George Soros

And men’s hearts have already failed them. They’re already caving. David, you were with me at Fox when George Soros said to me 10 years ago or his guys said to my guys, let Mr. Beck know, George Soros wants him to know, the ship has already sailed, and you’re either on it or you’re not. And we said at the time, we’re not on it. This is the ship that he was talking about 10 years ago.

David:

Wow! So how fast is this progress in America? And what do we do about it?

Glenn:

It’s going to start happening immediately in America. Most people won’t really understand until it’s already too late. I mean, once you get all of his BlackRock people in, once you have John Kerry in as the climate czar, it is the clock is ticking, and they’re already in. So it’s going to happen quickly.

The best thing you can do is educate yourself, but they away from anyone other than the original source. Go right to the original source, read up on agenda 2030 and the Great Reset. It’s all the climate stuff. It’s the green jobs bill, all of that stuff comes from this.

So have credibility, be able to know it, back it up and only use those sources, because they’re going to fight this the way they fight everything. Say, oh, that’s a conspiracy. That’s nonsense. That’s not what it is. Get it from them.

We Must Help Change Minds and Hearts

David:

So as this thing starts moving forward, and I’m assuming the way you’re talking, Biden administration is going to move things forward really quickly. We’ve got a midterm election coming up. Will people see enough of a change in the next two years to push back and say, let’s clamp this down?

And if they do, has it gone too far in that period of time to turn it back? Where’s the breaking point where we fall off the cliff on this thing?

Gleen:

I don’t know, David. I really don’t. I know that we have to be peaceful. I know that we have to try to change people’s hearts, our neighbors. We’re not going to change their minds until we change their hearts. And that means we have to have an open heart.

I know that we have got to document this stuff before it’s scrubbed. But I don’t know how long it’s going to take before there’s no return. But it’s not going to take long, I fear.

They’re using COVID as an excuse. And that’s also why you’re seeing these, like the teachers unions and some of these other unions, all saying no, we can’t open, we can’t open we can’t open. That doesn’t make any sense. How are you collapsing this economy?

What they’re doing is they’re not collapsing the big companies, because the big companies will get the bailout dollars, they’ll get the loans they need. They’re collapsing the middle and lower class. They’re collapsing people so they fall right into their hands.

Stand for Truth

So the best thing you can do is A. stay active locally, make sure everybody you know, knows about it and is standing up, make sure it’s not in our schools, make sure they’re not teaching this Marxist garbage, and let your voice be heard on a local level. But also if you haven’t already, and you’re able to, make sure that you shore yourself up so you don’t have to fall into somebody’s hands, that you can be stable enough economically to be able to stand what’s coming.

David:

The American Story

And speaking of if we survive, dad, I appreciate the question that we always want to have the Joshua and Caleb approach. Which Joshua and Caleb are the two guys in the Bible that when the Israelites were going to spy out the land of Canaan, and there was a leader chosen from every tribe, Joshua and Caleb were the two that looked at this and said, okay, there are certainly giants in this land, but we can do it because God has called us to do it.

And one of the things that, Glenn is absolutely brilliant, he is very insightful, and he is right way more than he is wrong. But he doesn’t always have the perspective that we want to have of how can we go conquer and take this land, and partly because he sees how devastating this strategy is and what’s going on.

Get Involved on the Local Level

Now, with that being said, we know that when people get involved on a very local level, and they start engaging and doing things that you can fundamentally make a difference, and you can transform the place where you are, and ultimately transform the nation. And so there needs to be things we can do to get involved. With that being said, pretty eye opening some of the things he pointed out.

Rick, I know when you and I were listening, as this interview was happening, when he was talking about things like the stock market going up in the midst of chaos and uncertainty, well, that doesn’t make very much sense. There were several things he said. And when he made the point, we just went oh, wow.

That’s really a big deal that if somebody’s not pointed that out, I don’t know that I would have paid attention to it. But now that I see it, you’re going okay, wow, nope, this is a real thing. When you have so many world leaders who are using the same phrases saying the exact same thing, it does seem like there’s something very big happening and we definitely need to be aware of it.

Rick:

Yeah, and I think again, it comes back to that, just like you’re saying that Joshua Caleb approach and we try really hard here WallBuilders Live to have a balance, to be eyes wide open, to realize that bad things are being planned. That there’s always been evil men. There’s always been human nature to control other people and grab power. That’s always been the case. And unfortunately, a lot of those things are aligning for the Left right now in our country, and they’ve been able to win a lot of victories.

But the balanced approach is we say yes, those things are true, and that is what we’re facing. But it’s the giants in the land. It’s the fortified cities. And therefore, if we were going to have a Joshua and Caleb approach, we say, okay, Lord, where do you want us to attack? Where do you want us to be involved? Where do you want us to take ground back?

The Great Reset By The World Economic Forum – With Glenn Beck

Where can we run somebody for a local office or for a federal officer, whatever it might be? But where can we influence people? Where can we educate people? And just always looking for, while realizing there’s some tough battles ahead, always looking for a place to be faithful and to implement the things that God has given us.

So let’s use our freedom. Let’s not give up on what’s out there. There’s a lot of great things happening as well as the bad thing. So by the way, make sure you tune in tomorrow here on WallBuilders Live, because it’ll be a Good News Friday and David and Tim will be sharing a lot of those stories they’ve been gathering of some of the good things happening out there.

But you go make some good things happen. Right there in your backyard, start a Constitution class, start something with your church and with your neighbors. Be used by God, wherever you’ve been planted.

There’s so much for us to be thankful for. There’s some really important things happening right now and some things that threaten your liberty, but you can do your part to help defend that liberty and make sure we can pass this thing in tech to our kids.
