Faith and the Culture

Rick:

Welcome to the intersection of faith and the culture. This is WallBuilders Live. We’re taking on the hot topics of the day from a biblical, historical, and constitutional perspective.

And for the next couple of days, we’ve got another one of those great presentations from the legislators’ conference from just a few weeks back. John Graves spoke at that conference on election integrity. It’s phenomenal, so good we wanted to share it with you, our listeners, but even better than sharing the presentation from John over the next couple of days.

We’ve got John right now on the phone to tell us a little bit about why this topic is so important, and that it’s not just for legislators, it’s for you, the listeners to be able to do some things as well. John, thanks for some time today, man.

John:

I’m always delighted to be with you, Rick, thanks for having me.

Rick:

Well, bro, you have been on the front lines of this one for years and you’ve seen this develop and this need for election integrity to develop. A lot of people feel helpless. And you’re going to tell us a lot that we can do and just how bad the situation is, but what the solutions are. What would you say to him going into this?

John:

Yeah, to me the number one solution, we spent over a year building a tool. There are 7,383 state reps and state senators in the 50 states. No matter where you are listening to us right now, go to millionvoices.org, the minute you sign in your name and address, we’re going to instantaneously show you who your state rep and state senator are, that’s who you need to change.

If 10 or 15 voters in a state rep contact them about election integrity, or life that’s about to be after 1,400 years of a battle back to the States or the Second Amendment, Supreme Court case it’s about to come back to the States, all of these issues we’re living in a revival of federalism and the 10th Amendment. And election integrity is one of the critical, critical pieces.

So please go to millionvoice.org and sign up and it’ll instantly tell you. And every month we’ll give you talking points, we’ll give you things to talk to your state rep about, tell you what is kind of the cutting edge issues of the day, what are the best things to do. And as they listen to this talk, Rick, it’s us talking about a lot of the election integrity issues.

And we don’t want to go in the two extremes. But we do want to hold our state representatives accountable because 19 states have already made 33 laws since the 2020 election. And I think we can get another whole round of those this year and next year.

Rick:

So many needs that you’re meeting with this process. First of all, for the individual listener out there that’s upset, frustrated, knows there’s problems here, wants to do something but just has no clue what to do, this gives them something to do, is something that really matters and that is that direct communication with those legislators on specific issues.

And so it’s not just a one-time thing: when they sign up with you, they’ll be able to get a multiple opportunities to let their voice be heard with their rep. And I just got to say, folks, don’t give up on this election thing. A lot of people said, oh, well, if they can steal the election, there’s no point in voting. I mean, we definitely need to tighten these things up, right, John? But this is winnable. These are things that can actually be done.

John:

Well, in Virginia, we saw 12 point swing, and you won Virginia. 19 states have strengthened voter integrity, so things are going to be better. They’re not going to be able to use the COVID excuse to come up with all these weird rules to violate the Constitution and the state legislatures that pass things. But we do still need more of that. But even if there is some cheating, you can win beyond the margin of cheat.

And one of the historic things, if you sign up for our emails, we’ll send you links in a future of how to volunteer to be state reps. In Wisconsin alone, there’s over 4,000 people who’ve signed up to be poll watchers and people who have been involved in the election process. The greatest thing we can do is not wring our hands or throw our hands up and walk away. The greatest thing we can do is be light into this darkness. And so we built this tool at millionvoices.org for this particular purpose. So don’t just hear the information, act.

Rick:

Yeah, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt you, go ahead. But that was what I wanted to say was you got to do something about it. You can’t just hope. You can’t just wish that it would happen. And here you’re giving people a vehicle to be part of that voice and to be part of that change. So millionvoices.org, it’s not a one-time thing. This is yes, we need to work on election integrity right now, but man, we got years of work ahead of us to turn this country back around and what a great way to get people plugged in and to let them know they’re not alone. I mean, there’s so many good things about signing up here.

John:

That’s why we call it Million Voices. And everybody thinks their voice doesn’t matter, your voice matters. So we want you to use it well. But we want to be the megaphone and give you tools. We did a lot of work to get 7,383 people instantaneously to come up no matter where you are in the country listening to us to make your go straight to your state senator, your state rep.

In small donation, we’ll do the postcard for you. You don’t even have to find the stamp, do the envelope, we’ll do it every single month for you. But you’re the one that it’s going to come from. It’s not going to come from Million Voices. It’s not going to have our logo. It’s not going to have our name, it’s going to have your name to your state rep saying, please contact me, here’s my contact information. I care about life. I care about election integrity. I care about Second Amendment. I care about these moral issues of the day.

Rick:

I’m so excited about this man, this, I hear from people all the time about wanting to do more and have action steps to do that. So, millionvoices.org is a website. We’re going to jump right into John’s presentation at the legislators’ conference. Now John’s talking to state reps and state senators around the country, making sure they’re aware of how this works.

But we want you the listener, the voter, the citizen to also be aware of this, and then reach out to your state legislator that probably wasn’t in the room for this presentation and share with them how much you want them to be a part of the solution on election integrity. So you’re about to hear John Graves speaking at the ProFamily Legislators Conference. And, John, thanks for being on live with us as well.

John:

Always a pleasure. Thanks for having me, Rick.

Rick:

Stay with us, you’re listening to WallBuilders Live.

AMERICAN HISTORY

This is Tim Barton from WallBuilders with another moment from American history. The Second Amendment to the Constitution, which guarantees to every individual the right to keep and bear arms has been targeted for years now by those who are determined to dismantle the individual right to self-protection. Opponents argue that only the militia, the military, and law enforcement are to have and use firearms.

But those who wrote the Second Amendment strenuously disagreed, including Founding Father Richard Henry Lee, a signer of the Declaration, a president of the Continental Congress, and one of those who actually frame the Second Amendment. He declared “To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young how to use them.”

ProFamily Legislators Conference

John:

Thank you. I’m honored to be with you. And I hope that I can try to bring some sound mindedness to the discussion of election integrity. A year and a half ago, defund the police didn’t exist, critical race theory wasn’t one of the top two, three issues.

They were out there, but they weren’t there. Election integrity was out there. It’s always been out there. There’s a fraction people talking about it, majority people are going on.

And I have dear, dear friends, and I don’t know if this includes a small fraction of you in this room that believe everything in the whole world is fraud, therefore we should never give, we should never vote. It’s about 10 -15% of the people on the conservative side right now. And that’s why we lost the two Senate runoff seats and Georgia.

Stolen Elections

And so the problem for us is-two thirds of conservatives, the GOP, two-thirds of them believe it is a massive problem in the last election was stolen. On the other extreme, if you will, think of a road where we’re trying today to talk about what is election integrity? How do we deal with this issue?

And in the one ditch there’s the people who think the whole thing is controlled by foreign actors, the whole thing is completely done, and it’s just all hopelessness is give up. And on the other extreme is great people think there’s nothing to it. There’s a few little one offs here and there, but none of it ever raises to the deal. And so the whole thing’s just a big distraction a big lot.

I would like to present a third view for you today that this is a ditch that is not helpful to us on any occasion. And we need to get our people out of both of those ditches back up on the road and deal with a sound minded platform of election integrity. So I’m going to talk about that today. And I want to go through some of this. Some of these slides I’m going to go through quickly, some of them I’m going to slow down.

I am involved helping several other groups, several other legal activities in several states, several organizations. And I’ll share with you my background as I got a business degree accounting degree, law degree. I’m an ordained Pastor. I run a nonprofit, but I own several technology companies that micro-target people down to their cell phone, down to their home, and so we’re really, really good at hyper targeting people on data.

So because of that work, which we mostly had done for elections, and we mostly do it to mobilize people in the church, when the election went the way that it did, we began working with several different groups because of the data that we had and the technology that we had to try to come alongside them. And unfortunately, one of the biggest frustrations I’ve had is the number of people that are distracting. And this is law school 101 or you could even say debate 101, President Trump just did it a week half ago with an editorial on Pennsylvania.

Debate 101

Here’s 10 issues. I’m like, yes, three of those are really, really actually valid. The problem is you lump them in with all these really bad ones. and now what is the left going to do? They’re going to say, well, this was dumb, and here’s why it’s disproved. And this was dumb and here’s why it’s disproved. And by the way, we’re not going to go through the rest list, but they’re all like this.

And then what happens is they’re throwing the baby out with the bathwater. They’re throwing the good, legitimate problems that we need to deal with out by getting off into these fantastical unprovable or already disprovable things and yet, the opposite extreme is let’s just be an ostrich and bury our head in the sand. So I want to walk through the different kinds.

And the number one majority thing that everybody’s talked about for the last year is the software, the domain. That’s it. The whole thing is controlled by that, it’s all there. I’m not here to prove or disprove that. But I want to go through some things that there’s a lot more issues than just the software issue. However, you deal with that, it needs to be looked at, you need to be very careful with it. If there is something there, somebody needs to audit, investigate it. But there’s a lot of other issues. So let me click through some of these.

Foreign interference, anybody remember this one? This was our, not this 2020, but 2016, this came a four years story with Hillary and Russia and foreign… I’m not saying it’s not there. I just don’t know if that’s the biggest issue. Software fraud, that’s been the big thing that everybody’s talked about.

I think there’s a massive issue of adjudication. If you’re unaccountable, and you can change anybody’s vote in there, nobody should be okay with that. That’s like a bank teller being able to change my bank accounts and nobody ever holding them to account.

Voter Suppression and Election Interference

But these are two things that I think are massive, and almost no one’s talking about: voter suppression and election interference. What I mean by this, you’ve heard of suppression polls, not everybody’s George Barna, right, not everybody is traffic or group. There’s a lot of polls out there. The average poll in 2020 was four points off.

I was actually on a call with Robert Holley this about two nights ago, and literally, some of the pollsters were so wrong in Virginia. Do you know what they’re starting to do with some of these liberal media companies? They’re going to keep doing polls, but they’re not going to do them on elections anymore. Why?

Because elections is the only time you know if the poll was actually accurate. And it’s like I can’t make good money if I’m going to have to do this on elections and you’ll see that my polls aren’t really good. But I can tell you a lot of money telling you what people believe, whether it’s true or not, you’ll never know. Because an election is the only time that you have it. And so you’ve got suppression polls.

You’ve got Google and Facebook, literally, I know some of you have known about this, there’s some of the leaks that came out with a high end people at Google, they had an 89% success rate at changing an undecided voters vote by changing the algorithm. It’s simple. When you go to Google something, it’s 97 or whatever percent: it’s a monopoly.

And so if I want to make this candidate look good, and this candidate look bad, it’s very easy. I make nine of the top 10 be this. Nobody’s going to scroll to all 2,000 things that pop up. Whoever does that? Anybody in here scroll? No. So now you’re having to go to DuckDuckGo or some other platform.

And so I think these two things are huge. And I would include Zuck Bucks in this, although that’s also in another deal. That’s half a billion dollars unaccounted for 26, 26 top cities funded, do you know, how many Biden won? 25.

AMERICAN STORY

Hey, guys, we want to let you know about a new resource we have at WallBuilders called The American Story. For so many years, people have asked us to do a history book to help tell more of the story that’s just not known or not told today.

And we would say very providentially in the midst of all of the new attacks coming out against America, whether it be from things like the 1619 project that say America is evil, and everything in America was built off slavery, which is certainly not true or things, like even the Black Lives Matter movement, the organization itself, not out the statement Black Lives Matter, but the organization that says we’re against everything that America was built on, and this is part of the Marxist ideology. There’s so many things attacking America.

Well, is America worth defending? What is the true story of America? We actually have written and told that story starting with Christopher Columbus, going roughly through Abraham Lincoln, we tell the story of America not as the story of a perfect nation of a perfect people. But the story of how God used these imperfect people and did great things through this nation. It’s a story you want to check out, wallbuilders.com, The American Story.

Rick:

We’re back here on WallBuilders Live. We’re going to go right back to John Graves at the ProFamily Legislators Conference.

Election Interference

John:

Biden won 25 of the 26 and no one’s talking about. I have a personal opinion because we actually own a software company we just sold in California and I know a lot of people in that industry. And when he got out with it by Trump’s campaign in 2016, he started then and he intended, so he was able to take two slices of the election interference.

Now in the past, what was election interference? You’re intimidating someone. You’re threatening someone? How are you suppressing? The left does what? Anytime we talk about voter and tech, oh, you’re trying to suppress votes, you’re trying to suppress votes. And so I want to talk about these two things. But I think these two things are there but they’re not the biggest issue. I think the constitutional violations was massive.

Matter of fact, one of the things Robert said on this call, he said had the 2020 election had been held by the identical rules of 2016, and you didn’t have all the COVID we’re going to count votes late, the Democrat courts are going to overrule the Republican legislatures in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, did the consent decree, all those kinds of things, if you didn’t have that, Trump gets 330 electoral votes. That’s a 100 electoral vote shift, you got 232.

That’s massive, if you just do it: which is why I try to calm people down and say, hey, in 2024, we’re probably not going to be dealing with the COVID bizarre year, right. There’s lots of other things, and I don’t want to unpack all those in this short talk.

But this is the one I want to spend most of my time talking about. It’s retail fraud. I call it old fashion fraud, where you’re just stealing people’s vote. You’re voting for other people. You’re filling out their ballot.

You’re putting it into Dropbox. You’re mailing it. Lot of people, the word ‘harvesting’ a lot of people use I hate when people use that. So I would like you to begin using the language ‘trafficking’.

Trafficking

Most people know what sex trafficking is. Vote trafficking, ballot trafficking is bad. Harvesting is worst. Especially if you’re a believer, harvesting is a good thing. We want to bring in the harvest. Harvesting is good, right? The left kicks or tells over and over and over on language. Satan uses language all the time.

You know, the CDC just redefined vaccines, did you all know this? They just redefined it. Why? Because for our entire life for over 100 years, a vaccine means what, I’m immune. But you get this vaccine and you still get it and you still spread it. Right?

So they had to take the word immune out of a vaccine. Vaccine no longer gives you immunity. But that’s why everybody’s taking it because they think it’s given immunity anyway. Alright.

Now I spent a lot of time on this next slide. And I’m going to give you a handout at the end on practical, what can you do if you’re a state senator, you’re a state legislature. And I do feel like spiritually, God wanted me to share something today.

Some of my good friends, Brian Hughes’s, a great one, ran over two decades ago for House, he’s now in the State Senate. His roommate at the time, was a guy named Ken Paxton. Ken was also House Rep, but he’s now an Attorney General. I believe a lot of you in this room will go on to do something more. And this is not a short-term thing I’m talking about today.

This is not that we better fix this for 22, we better fix this for 24. No, if we don’t fix this, we’re not going to be having any more discussions about life, about marriage, about all the profamily moral issues of the day.

Because if they can cheat, and that’s what’s happened now, and I’m going to walk you through this, many liberal states are now parameterizing the COVID cheating rules to make it unconstitutional. But the good news is a lot of other states are fighting back. And that’s my prayer today is I can give you enough practical application of how can I go back and actually do something that’s possible to do my state?

Fairness or Freedom

Well, a lot of people use this phrase, this next slide is going to be kind of what are we trying to do here? What do we want? If somebody asked you this slide is, what if I asked you if there’s fraud, right, and a lot of people want to go one extreme or the other, what if they ask you what do you want?

And people say I want free and fair elections, free and fair elections. You hear that phrase all the time, right? Well, I think they’re kind of free. I don’t think that’s the problem that a bunch of us had to pay and other people didn’t have to pay. That wasn’t really the problem, right? Fairness really was a problem.

And other people say oh, it’s got to be safe and secure, safe and secure. It’s like well, I don’t know that it wasn’t safe to mail in a piece of paper, or go to a poll. But was it secure? So this next slide is just the best way I could come up with some talking points for you of what I think we’re looking at.

So, the first one is fair. I came up with an acronym FACTS. Fair is all the slides I just sent you. It’s got to be fair. You would never say you know what, I want to go play in the Super Bowl, but I want the opposing team to pick all the umpires. Come on. No, that’s not fair. Right?

It’s not fair for the state legislature, according to the Constitution they have a set of rules of how we’re going to do things and a Democrat court overruling or a Democrat Secretary of State or a Democrat. Some of you had to deal with that. That’s not fair. That is not fair at all. Okay. But it also needs to be auditable. And this is the one that I think we can stay really, really focused on. Why would you not want that?

Your campaign has to disclose everything and be auditable. On both sides, both parties, you got to be auditable. Banks do this, right. Companies do this. Nonprofits do this. And here’s the thing.

In 2019, Hillary Clinton was still claiming that it was an illegitimate election in 2016 and refused to admit it. President Trump has refused to concede although they both practically conceded by getting out, but they just refuse to admit it. Let’s pretend you’re agnostic about politics or Republicans and Democrat, that’s not good, guys.

A Moment from AMERICAN HISTORY

This is Tim Barton from WallBuilders with another moment from American history. Alexis de Tocqueville, a political official from France, traveled to the United States in 1831 and penned his observations in the now famous book “Democracy in America”. Being from France, what he found in America was completely unexpected to him.

He reported “Upon my arrival in the United States, the religious aspect of the country was the first thing that struck my attention. And the longer I stayed there, the more I perceived the great political consequences resulting from this. In France, I’d almost always seen the spirit of religion in the spirit of freedom marching in opposite directions. But in America, I found that they were intimately united and that they reigned in common over the same country.”

De Tocqueville recognized that it was biblical Christianity and the morals that produced that made America great. For more information about Alexia Tocqueville and the positive influence of Christianity in early America, go to wallbuilders.com.

Rick:

We’re back here on WallBuilders Live. We’re going to go right back to John Graves at the ProFamily Legislators Conference.

ProFamily Legislators Conference

John:

Both sides, the issue is never that the winner thinks there was too much fraud, the winner always goes, well, maybe I overcame the margin of cheat, right, or maybe there was no cheating. What you want is an auditable fair election where the loser also believes you know what, that was a tight game, but they beat us today. They play this better on offense, better on defense, you know, whatever you want to say. Everyone should want this. This is defendable, no matter who you’re talking to.

The third one is massive. This is constitutional. And this is where I want to give you some good news that people I don’t think we’re making a big enough deal about. That April opinion that came down in Arizona from the Supreme Court 6-3 over 2016 voter integrity increase laws, that should put a wind in your sails that the Supreme Courts got your back.

If you can figure out how to get it through your state, they will get your back because they upheld the 2016 thing, which I think, you know, the problem is the Attorney General there, I don’t want to get into personal politics, because I don’t know who’s in the room, he’s kind of an ever Trump or he doesn’t want to do it. And now we got this whole audit. And I’ll get into that in just a second, where he’s the one that now has to go enforce this kind of stuff.

And so sometimes you’re having to make it to where we need some guidelines beyond just what’s happening. And I do think there’s a nuanced issue of what would the Supreme Court do if some of you in this room could get a case all the way there and say when the Constitution says the state legislature makes these rules, is it a violation of the Constitution that a Democrat court in the state overrules it? Interesting question, isn’t it? Somebody needs to fight about that, okay.

But this is a big one traceable. It’s not just ballots. And it’s not just voters.

If you can’t trace the ballot, and you can’t trace the voter, and anybody can drop it in, anybody can mail it, anybody can go traffic at a nursing home, or whatever, it is not traceable. We do this in finances, don’t we? We do it in every other realm.

You should be able to trace that’s a citizen. It’s not a felon. It’s not a minor. We have very specific rules of who should vote. But if you can’t trace who it is to a real human being, and know and verify that it holds up to the state law, then it’s not there, it’s never going to get there.

And then, I’m going to get into practical stuff later with the drop boxes, the mail-in and all that kind of stuff. Some of it’s common sense, but some of it will shock you. Okay? If you’re going to do drop boxes, you need videos. And then the final thing is it needs to be secure. It needs to be secured digitally, but it also needs to be secured, personally. Alright.

What Can You Do About Election Integrity, Part 1 – With John Graves Of Million Voices

And so this is where I’m saying if somebody is adjudicating and there’s no accountability, there needs to be eyes on everybody. If you could write down if you want to remember, the two top things that are at the core of all of these issues are dirty rolls, if you got dirty input, you’re going to get dirty output.

Now, I’m a big data guy. I got an accounting degree, a law degree. I understand this from a lot of different worlds, okay.

Some people see one thing that’s off and go see there, that proves it all, that proves it all see right there. And I’m like, actually, it just proves government incompetence. It’s a quality control issue.

Now it needs to be addressed. But it’s a quality control issue. That’s not a fraud issue. I’m not saying quality control doesn’t increase fraud, because it does. That’s what I’m trying to say right here. I’m just saying it needs to be secured digitally and it needs to be secured down to the person.

Rick:
